George told the cops that Casey wouldn't let him go to her trunk, she insisted on getting the wheel blocks herself, and at the same time, threw out the gas cans and said "here's your damn cans.."
(paraphrasing). He never looked in the trunk, and why would he?

My mind keeps going back to this point. Correct me if I am wrong. This occurred on June 24. (?)
I understood the bug expert to implicate the body was in one place for a (very) short time (early stages of decomp) before the trunk and a later stage of decomp happened while in the trunk for 3 - 5 days. Then on to the disposal site late June/Early July & not moved again.
If Caylee was killed at the hands of ICA on 6/16 & in the trunk for 3-5 days, why didn't GA smell decomp on 6/24 (during the gas can incident)?! Did the smell of the gas (open vent in the can) over power the smell of decomp and that is why she kept the gas cans in there (after a faked 'run out of gas' scenario)?

It's fascinating to see the stories people invent simply from looking at someone's facial expression.

Who washed out the trunk?

Was there not some discussion froma media source that the chloroform in the trunk was from cleaning supplies? I'll go back and look but it was a very long time ago. CA washed ICA's pants and did some cleaning.

That is another means that I have also thought about from time to time. That video taken in the bathroom with Caylee looking perplexed and upset has always bothered me. Did KC do a test-run on drowning Caylee in the tub? Is that why Caylee looks that way as she is being videoed?

Do you have a link to that one? I've look for it to no avail. tia

But WHY would CA and ICA be communicating now? Casey refused visits from CA, even just days before the jury selection began. :waitasec: Is CA passing "notes" with things for Baez to say/not say?

I can sympathize with Cindy and George on the loss of their granddaughter, Caylee. I can well understand that they don't want to see their daughter get the death penalty.

But I can't fathom them acting like "all is forgiven and we're going to try to help your defense and get you acquitted so you can come home and have mom's homemade chili!"

What KC has done is unforgivable! While not wanting to see their daughter get the death penalty, George and Cindy have to know that KC needs to take responsibility for what she's done and be sentenced to a prison term.

If we learn that the Anthonys have been on board with the defense team all along, agreeing to having George and Lee accused of molesting KC, and agreeing to George helping in the disposal of Caylee's body, and agreeing to accusing Roy Kronk of moving the body................all with the goal of an acquittal, I will be very upset!

One who does not type:D aka a lurker

I am one of the lurkers...I am very interested in this case, but I am new, and I don't have the background in it that many here do. I am just reading & watching.

Who washed out the trunk?

I don't think it was washed out and it was not vacuumed out because there was dirt in it. Stuff was taken out of the trunk and it was sprayed.

My earlier question was not answered, was the area the remains were found searched in July or August??

TES tried to search the area in July/August. However, when they went there it was determined there was much too much water due to a recent storm, so they backed off so as to not destroy any potential evidence, grind bones into the mud, etc.

Just to keep things straight, I believe that was Troy's gf. The group affiliated with RM and AH. Can't remember her name though.

"Just to keep things straight' - ha! Who do I think I am? I was too tired last night and should have quite while I was ahead. RR0004 has it right,
the girl they were talking about, Kissh, was a friend of TL's group.
She's the one that claims KC was not watching Caylee carefully enough and that Caylee had been out on the balcony.

Troy's old gf lives up in Boston now and testified. She's the one who said all was going well with KC but KC made that comment about being a good liar.

This is right, right?

Yes, the DT was talking about Febreze, lots of it, remember when CA had her miraculous return of memory, and she recalled putting a whole bottle of it plus strips in the trunk- their mouthpieces on media were saying it could deteriorate into chloroform. When the manufacturers of Febreze got wind of that they made a public statement that put the kybosh on that theory...

I agree with that. It is true there is no proof that she was the one who put it there. But then the next question becomes, WHERE DID SHE THINK CAYLEE WAS?

She is the mother of a toddler--a toddler who was in her care. Where did she think she was all of this time? And why did she make up this nanny story?

That is what makes me believe she is guilty. There was a dead body in the trunk, ands although there is no proof she put it there, we do have proof that she tried to pretend her child was fine and with a person that did not exist.

So the burden falls upon her to tell us WHY she lied and told everyone that story. The only 2 explanations that make sense are 1, she was covering up her deeds, or 2, she was covering for someone else.

Sorry, but if she is going to keep covering for someone else then she is toast. And It comes down to us believing either George or Casey. And I believe George over casey.

Casey was far too happy and carefree for me to believe it was just a tragic accident.

The state doesn't have to prove that it was Casey who put the body in the trunk, they just have to convince the jury that Casey had the motive and means to do so. A jury is allowed to use common sense.

If it wasn't Casey who put the body in the trunk, who was it? Casey told a number of stories to account for the smell - did she never look in the trunk to find the real source of the odor? Who took the body out of the trunk and put it in the woods if not Casey? Seriously, it defies all logic to think that someone else may have done it.

Ok here is one thing I am sure the DT is going to bring up and I wonder if anyone has an answer for it.

Sworn testimony says the smell did not follow the garbage bag. How come, it had the paper towels with grave wax on them inside it.

I took it to mean that the trunk continued to smell after the bag was removed. Usually when you take out the offender the space recovers and begins to smell normal again. mo

ETA: If we are supposed to believe the DT version, then George was supposed to be taking care of everything. Why then would he put the decomposing body in Casey's trunk and leave it there for 3 to 5 days?

BBM: To frame Casey for murder, of course!

Cindy did remove some items from the car and spritz Febreeze in the car. That is not the same as washing the trunk. Dr Vass testified that no chemicals from cleaning products were found in the trunk liner.

BBM they don't have to prove motive, sometimes crazy has no motive.
