Reporter Local 6 to Dr. Spitz (just now, live): Are you being compensated?

Spitz: I have yet to submit a bill nor have I been paid by anybody.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Orange County, George A. Sprinkel, IV, Judge.

James B. Gibson, Public Defender, and M. A. Lucas, Assistant Public Defender, Daytona Beach, for Appellant.

Wasn't M.A. Lucas Lee's attorney at some point?

I see that FL Native already answered that it was Luka, but idly wondering which of the above attorneys posted this answer 4 years ago on a Yahoo answer thread :

"What's the Most Unique Name You've Ever Heard?"

Vasco Dagama Thompson--I am sure his mother hoped he would go far, but he was a criminal whose appeal I handled for the State.

On In Session Gary Tuchman said shared an elevator with the A's after the motion for acquittal failed and said George and Cindy held each other and cried down through 23 floors in the elevator.

I do feel bad for them, but they could not possibly have thought Casey was going to get acquitted today. I hope the reality is now clear to them. I guess they were hoping for a last minute miracle, but it didn't happen. *sigh*

Local Channel 6 just now interviewed Dr. Werner Spitz....very interesting!
I hope they'll have a link up soon--he stated that he believes the body was moved, etc.

Of course it was moved in the early morning hours or sometime in the afternoon.....probably early morning...or maybe...wait...the time is not exactly known....probably early morning .....from pool to grass to picknik table to trunk to trashbag to trashbag to trashbag to laundrybag to WTP blanket to woods......:banghead:

Dr. Spitz just said on Local Channel 6: Let's remember that this is a Capital Case...

Reporter asking for estimate of how long body could have been in woods....Spitz said skeleton he saw was completely clean and free of tissue..considering the condition of the bones, this body could have been in that location (environment) for a period of six months, maybe longer, maybe 'little shorter but that's not a bad estimate.

Spitz feels the duct tape was applied after decomp.

Reporter: is it reasonable to conclude someone tampered with that skull?

Spita: Not unreasonable. Duct tape is very stick, if a bug would be in that location the bug would be trapped and that was not the case, no legs of bugs, etc.

No bugs because it was stuck to Caylee until decomp progressed to nothing. When would the bugs have gotten stuck? Anyway, the stickiness globbed away,so if there were ever bugs (I don't think so) they would have washed away with the flood water and the sticky part .:banghead:

Local 6 reporting right now that GA has never heard of this kidnapper. There is no indication that the kidnapper has confirmed any communication with GA.

Hope ClickOrlando puts up a link to this interview soon.

It totally amazes me that Casey Anthony in a fit of rage or in her heartless selfishness kills her child and suddenly George is on trial because the defense is so slippery. The witnesses that took a beating on the stand for only doing their jobs and the jury whose lives are on hold as though they are in prison. The witnesses had aspersions cast upon their honest and work. It just makes me so angry that the innocent are hurt because of one person Casey Anthony .

I'm sure it was a lot of things - the anniversary of Caylee's death, their daughter facing the death penalty, exhaustion...

I really do feel bad for her parents. I hope that they will be able to get back to somewhat of a normal life after all this is over but I'm sure their lives will never be "normal" again.

bbm

I am just a nurse and I KNOW that the mandible would not have been articulated if the tape was applied AFTER decomp!

He must not be from Florida. He is missing the huge HURRICANE that passed through. You know, all that WATER it dumped? Sheesh.

Ok. I think I may have figured it out! George and the felon both had calls in their records to the exact same area code!

Well I am too now. I assumed they were talking about something different since they mention that the handles would have made transporting Caylee easier...:innocent:

The laundry bag had handles as well and looks like a large open duffel bag. I think they are caught up in the semantics. the picture they showed CA and the one they used in that clip is a picture of the two whitney design bags- the one still at the A's house and the one found at the scene.
