I m issed the last 15 minutes yesterday and I'm going to miss Friday and Saturday since I'm heading up to Michigan to see my family. I "think" someone posted that I can get it on HLN on Sirius. I have to find out! I'll go through withdrawl if not!

I haven't been "home" in a year though so I have thankfully I can catch up ho go. Thankfully I know I can catch up here Sunday night!

I'm happy with the SA's right now and don't really see what the DT can do to try to get her even a lesser charge at this point. :dunno:

Listening to Diana Tennis on Fox35 and she's saying the day may not be as short as we might think. The entering of the cans into evidence has to happen. Then the State rests. Then the argument for a directed verdict by the Defense - which she says is crucial to the case. We are all sure that HHJBP will deny it, however, the record has to be made for appellate reasons. According to her, a fair number of cases are overturned on this issue - Gary Siplin is one (a Central Florida politician).

She also mentioned something about there being no evidence at this point to show that ICA was properly sworn in before signing her written statement which would automatically knock that count of lying to LE out as it is bases solely on that statement.

Since what happens in court is ultimately the judge's responsibility, he will probably apologize to them for another short day. They have shown their willing to work weekends, holidays, whatever to move this along and judges try to hard to be good to their jurors. If the state rests and the DT does not start, they will probably know what the problem is.

Heck, he probably already has something fun planned for them to do!

I bet that the DT tries to start their case today, hoping that the SA isn't ready for it...lol


I know they are waiting for witnesses to fly in but if they plan on putting ICA on the stand, she's already there.

I bet the gallery will be empty if they know it's just a 5 minute hearing. I see no other reason to call in the jury except for more DT theatrics.

I think they will be thwarted, but they will probably try it anyhow.


They are stuck with the inmates version of events, and they KNOW how stupid it all sounds. They should have all quit 3 years ago when she refused to take their advice. I bet that deal disussed in the beginning, is starting to look good about now.

There is NO way I'm going to sit through hours of arguments about that today. I'm already dreading having to hear the DT present their case. Not because I'm not interesting in what they have to say, I am, but Baez is so long winded, and wanders so much, that it's like watching a foreign movie without benefit of subtitles to me.
