I had the same feeling but then I realized that the delightful Mr Ashton will be getting up and tearing the defense witnesses to shreds on cross and also I imagine he'll be bobbing up and down like a pop tart "objecting" and putting Baez off his stride - Now that, I can't wait to see! :)

Of course!! And... respectfully... if one can't bear to watch the whole trial, then why watch any of it? The whole point of our justice system is to consider both sides. Otherwise... it's not a fair trial.
I will be just as interested in the defense's side as I was the prosecution's. I predict that it will be interesting.

Sheesh, Vinnie P. seems a little verbose, today.

No he is a defense surprise witness they say he called G anthony numerous times the days before Cindy calld reporting Caylee missing.

Georges Lawyer said George does not know Mr Vasquez nor has he ever spoken to him.

This is interesting!

I still don't understand why he is being brought up now.

Everyone stop for a moment and read this post and thank it so that I know you have read it.

Speech impediments are not to be a subject of discussion in these threads.

We have zero tolerance and these types of comments add nothing to the discussion. It is unkind to continue to point these disabilities out.

We will probably see Dr. Vass on the stand once again he has a great mind. And, HHJP is an honorable man who has devoted his life to the legal system and is brilliant.

There is absolutely no value in continuing to point out speech impediments or mispronunciation of words . Final Word on this subject. We have a rough patch ahead of us so don't be left by the dock when the ship sails.

Post lands at random.

:bump:

OK - I've been buried in another thread all afternoon...JUST A SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE to go up and look at the thread about the new suprise defense witness. It has been totally debunked (by one of our own...years ago I might add). Richard Hornsby just gave a shout out to her....so if you haven't explored that thread...please it is a MUST READ.

How can CM have argued 'we don't know how she died' while asking for the acquital when in the DT's opening statement they specifically stated Caylee died on July 16 as a result of drowning?
__________________Can someone explain to me how CM can explain this discrepancy in his story?

He must have slept through opening statements.
Seriously, IDK... Maybe Casey has changed her story since the trial started. Wouldn't surprise me.

So Linda finally said Caylee could have died from duct tape OR chloroform OR both.

She also finally mentioned motive in court.

"It is our opinion that a reasonable jury can conclude that the relationship between the parties in this case, specifically Mrs. Anthony and her daughter Casey Anthony could provide, or did provide a motive for Casey Anthony to eliminate the child."

We've been waiting for that... now they have come out and said that specifically. I understand why they mentioned during this argument against the defense's motion. I just wonder why they didn't introduce it? Or, if they think it'll come up during the defense case?

<Dumb look> Which Linda??

Poor HLNews --- they really need to read WS.

They are showing VT's mug shot on screen now and talking about the new witness that is a felon.

Uh doesn't the judge have to ok the change since it was last minute?
