JA's outburst - he has been warned before about the judge not being hard of hearing - I don't know if they have a history or just different modes of operation. What keeps going through my mind is Matlock always going "but yur honnnorrr"...

In my head the characters in this are:

CM is a Matlock wannabe.
JB is Columbo, except he never gets it right.
JA is Atticus Finch with a temper.
LDB is... well, she's just an angel.

ICA is Beelzebub.

We know it was or the lower mandible wouldn't have been held in place, I don't think even with a hurricane blasting through, the duct tape floated from Hopespring drive to Caylee's face.

I can't speak for Goldenlover, I don't know what he/she means by their question but after having read some of his/hers posts today I will venture to say that he/she is talking about the duct tape that had the DNA that wasn't KC's or Caylee's and that that particular piece of duct tape may have not been on Caylee's face.

I don't think anyone thinks that a piece of duct tape floated down the street and ended up on Caylee's face while she was decomposing inside 3 bags in the woods. Or were you being sarcastic?

all JMHO

Sorry I couldn't find this post to "quote" for real so I copied & pasted it below....

I respectfully disagree. The guy who testified about the mandible being held in place says in most cases it would not be in place, but it was possible to still be in place. He also, under cross examination admitted that the plant roots growing around the skull could have held the mandible in place. The duct tape was not found wrapped around the skull. It was in a pile beside the skull and some was stuck in the hair.Nothing has proven it was wrapped 1, 2 or 3 times around the head, it is only a theory. I think the SA needs another theory as to the cause of death.

I don't recall anyone saying the duct tape was in a "pile beside the skull"? :waitasec: The duct tape was NOT completely wrapped around (circumference) of the skull, it was three pieces (?) over the child's mouth & nose, attaching to her hair. Didn't Dr. G explain that the mandible was ONLY still attached because the duct tape held it in place? The mandible is attached with "soft tissue" IIRC so the duct tape is what held the mandible in place. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I give it to you all who was able to sit and watch the morning session.
I went back to bed, had a nice dream, and am back to decide if I will do it again after the lunch break

Posted on the Morning Session but nobody replied....

Can anyone tell me why the case law that is cited is always "located at Southern Second" ????? I hear this constantly and have no idea what it is referring to. And if it's the actual location (Orlando), shouldn't they be using case law that is more diverse, i.e., other areas in Florida such as Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, etc. ?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hope this helps...The Southern Reporter, the Southern Reporter Second and the Southern Reporter Third are United States regional case law reporters. It is part of the National Reporter System created by John B. West for the West Publishing Company.

The Southern Reporter contains published appellate court case decisions for:

Alabama
Florida
Louisiana
Mississippi

When cited, the Southern Reporter, the Southern Reporter Second and the Southern Reporter Third are abbreviated "So.", "So. 2d", and "So. 3d" respectively.

So when HHJP states "can be found at 900 So. 2nd 587" He is referring to the law book itself.... 900=Volume number, So.2nd= the reporting agency and 587=page number........:seeya:

Here are the two cases HHJP cited and said "read it" right before the lunch break.

Del Monte Banana Co. v. Chacon, 466 So. 2d 1167 - Fla: Dist. Court of Appeals, 3rd Dist. 1985

Broxson v. State, 505 So. 2d 1361 - Fla: Dist. Court of Appeals, 1st Dist. 1987

I'm with you, it's gone on long enough. Lock her up and throw away the key. Why must we be punished with JB's bs?

At this point if i was in her shoes i would be begging for that after all the ppl she has dragged through the mud im not sure she would be safe on the outside!! :giggle:

OH!

I think I figured out where JB is going!

Since no other DNA was left on the duct tape except that of which cannot be used to confirm whos it is,because it was left ,ruined from the weather and or etc.etc.etc.. then then what was left was DNA that was not left out in the weather for 6 mounths. It was left from when RK moved the body.

In Baez land.

Do what now? :waitasec:

Me neither. None.
But I must say, I was shocked as all get out the other night while watching Dr. Drew (I think) and Lisa Bloom was on as TH. She said she was 53. OMG..have you ever SEEN Lisa Bloom?
I definitely need a little botox or sumpin.....

Lisa Bloom 53? No way. She is Gloria Allred's daughter. Gloria maybe.... but Lisa? :waitasec:

ETA: I just looked it up - She is 50. I'm shocked!

Some attorneys were yelling @ Baez for cutting in the security line. #caseyanthony #fox35

LOL LOL LOL

I need to go back and relook at the dates on the papers that requested the lab run paternity tests on caylee's DNA against Lee and GA so I can get a good handle on understanding.

But, why did they? I kind of disagree that the info came from padilla so LE tested because of that. It could have been from an interview with Tony but I need to see the date of request and the date of his interviews to compare so I'm not ruling that out.

But I've always found it interesting they did test. Highly unusual to do that IMHO.

(just noodling here, not really going anywhere with it :))

IIRC, the request to test lee was handwritten in the margin.

I want you all to ponder this.......I heard it from Ashleight Banfield last night on TH show.

We will NEVER know what happened to Caylee. Even if ICA takes the stand and talks, we will never know if it is the truth.

She is so right and that will drive me crazy. Unless ICA got up and told the exact scenario that I thought happened, I will always doubt any story. Those theories, even on this board, are many. So IMHO, unless your specific (or pacific as HHJP says!) theory is that told, there will always be doubt.

I don't know if I can live with never knowing. I know I will have to, but gracious I haven invested 3 years of my life in this mess, and may NEVER KNOW THE TRUTH.

That sucks.

Good Morning. Are you ready for some torture? I must be crazy to head back to the court room to listen to more of JB. See you there. (groan)

Don't forget this is the mother of a child and she doesn't know or won't say who is the child's father. She tried to lie to Jesse and told him Caylee was his child until he got smart and figured it out. The jury is thinking WTH how many people is she going to accuse in her life of sexual exploitations.
