I'm a lurker. I am a retired atty (but I'm only 50 y.o., so don't call me a granny). I specialized in disability rights and later in domestic violence. Although I wasn't a trial atty, my career was pretty cool and I had some significant legal accomplishments.

I have generally respected defense attorneys, they uphold our constitutional right to a fair trial. Personal relationships...I'd rather go have beer with a DA than a PA.

That being said, JB is doing a pit-poor-a$$ job as a defense attorney. I've been watching, and my forehead is bruised from banging it on my table.

I have never paid attention to a case like this before, but I must say I'm shocked that a defense team can lie, lie, lie and twist the truth. It's really WRONG if you ask me!! Those paternity tests make it sound like ICA was molested if you don't know the whole 3 years of lies!!

We need a thread to count how many lives has ICA messed up? This guy is a criminal but I'm sure he's scared to death having to get an attorney when all it was was a typo!! Ridiculous!! All her friends (not imaginery) all moved out of state!

Maybe because his face, profile and record were plastered all over every national news channel last night because of a "fairy tale" BOMBSHELL brought about by the defense - In reference to the question of why he needs an attorney.

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town after tomorrow for a week, and I don't know how much I'll be able to watch. I want to watch as much as possible, however, I'll be visiting my aunt who is terminally ill (on the upside she may be watching as she loves this kind of stuff).

I really have not paid this close attention to a trial or case like this either. That being said, does anyone think that Baez is just going off all of the lies KC is telling the defense team and just trying to make the most sane statements out of such insane statements from her?
I have watched Baez and I agree with most here that he looks like a (take your pick of words) but he had to have done something right to become a lawyer. In a way, I feel for him that he is stuck with KC.

According to GA's statement to LE, and they were the pants found in the back of the Pontiac.

CA said she removed those pants from the Sunfire and laundered them.

Wondering how efficient any testing would be after cleaning?
