The jury asked to see the sticker. To my knowledge it's the only piece of evidence they have handled so far. Baez had to address it in his case and I thought he did a great job.

I know a lot of people here don't want to admit Baez does anything well, but today he did, with this particular witness and this particular piece of evidence, IMO.

how so? He tried to make it seem like the sticker was far away from anything having to do with Caylee's body. And then he had to ask that last question.. no bones in zone 6, right? Uh, no. There was a bone found close to the sticker. :loser:

IMO, there is something about the relationship between CMA and CM that is creepy -- lots of smiles, raised brows, beckoning crooked fingers, CMA posing.

It would appear that personal space and no touch policies are not in effect in the courtroom.

JIMO:twocents:

The shorts they found with Caylee have me a little perplexed. I can see a child who is wearing 3T wear a 24 month pair especially if they are made loose and with elastic around the waistband. But if they weren't the shorts that Caylee left in, how did they wind up at the dump site? Was she wearing them or were they some ICA just tossed out with her? Could Caylee have had an 'accident' in the one's she left in and ICA changed her shorts?

Someone mentioned they might fit without diapers on. They had an elastic waistband. makes sense!

I really have not paid this close attention to a trial or case like this either. That being said, does anyone think that Baez is just going off all of the lies KC is telling the defense team and just trying to make the most sane statements out of such insane statements from her?
I have watched Baez and I agree with most here that he looks like a (take your pick of words) but he had to have done something right to become a lawyer. In a way, I feel for him that he is stuck with KC.

I agree. I feel bad for any attorney that has to defend a client like KC. He has to go defend a client who he does not know what to really believe but he has to try to believe her and make sense of her claims. He did not make up all the stories...she did.

:great: LOL

Morgan and Morgan are like :crossfingers: with the DT. :floorlaugh: Not!

Is that the same office who represented ZFG? Please tell me yes and pass the stapler cause if it is I'm gonna bust my guts wide open laughing.

I don't think it's going off of the lies ICA has told the DT, it's the lies she's told everyone. She didn't need the neighbor's shovel to dig a hole for herself.
They have to make all of her lying, partying, the duct tape and throwing Caylee away, fit some kind of story.
I think she and JB patched this "theory" together for opening statement and LKB is helping confuse the jury with the forensics a la the magic cell phone.

I find that when buying clothing for babies and toddlers, it depends where the items were made. Some items 24 months size would fit a 32 lb. little girl. I know from experience, however, it is still JIMO.

While not unheard of, deliberately perpetrating a fraud upon the court is unethical conduct which would be grounds for disbarment under certain circumstances. One must presume (giving the benefit of the doubt,) that JB is working with a story he has been given by his client.

Working in favor of the best case scenario, of course, is the fact that this wildly outlandish, poorly thought out, ridiculous excuse for her actions following the supposed "accidental drowning" of her child is the fact that it bears all the earmarks of a story concocted by a narcissistic sociopath. Since this certainly fits the bill for ICA, I suspect we could go with this scenario with some confidence.

yes, They sound like the same attorneys that Zenaida Gonzales used. I think they were really pretty good.

It was his choice to defend her, he knows that she is a liar and he gets right up in court and IMO makes a total a$$ of himself. No sympathy for him or any other attorney who chooses to defend clients that they think are guilty and/or are lying to them.

this just on Dr. Drew. HJBP was the PA when VT was convicted for the kidnapping and beating of a woman. what are the chances of that???

As much as I appreciate the attorneys who comment on this case, there are all kinds of attorneys. If you have followed his career, which some on this board have posted, he got in by the skin of his teeth, imo.
You can have Clarence Darrow's and you can have JB's in every profession.
He hasn't shown me that he is a force to be reckoned with yet. :seeya:

Mr. Vasco Thompson has retained Matt Morgan from Morgan & Morgan as his new attorney to handle this "situation"

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: OMG, I LOVE it! I cannot wait to see this!:great:

I have 7 kids ,3 grandkids and have had a lot of foster kids. I've got this one (but I'm not a chemist)
As most toddlers grow they slim down .Though taller, what fit around the waist at 24 mos may still fit at 34 mos. Shorts ,especially ,are easier to get away with ,since the length isn't as important. A diaper is slightly thicker than a pull up,so that could be part of it,also.

Beyond that,Caylee may not have been wearing shorts at all. It's not unusual in the south to let kids sleep in just t-shirts in the summer. I still think it's possible Caylee was killed the night of the 15th or early hours of the 16th.
The shorts may have been in a bag .

I see your point but that is their job. They chose that as their profession. He can't help she is a nut case. I am NOT defending him because I honestly can't figure out if he believes it or is just doing what is job is. Like I said before, I do feel bad for him and anyone on that defense team. They can't back out now.

His point was that the sticker was no where near the tape. He made that point. I don't think it will matter one way or the other.
