Yes, I think so too! I no longer feel positive about a guilty verdict.IMO there are so many reasons that this case could go to appeal if she is convicted. I'm afraid we have a very long list.
And it makes me sick!

Perhaps this is why HHJP told the attorneys to meet with him at 8:30 tomorrow....to straighten them out. Although Baez is the one that was texting, he is going to tell them all at once, so this doesn't happen again.
I hope he addresses the Defendant's apparent texting, as well.
Is Dr Lee going to testify for the defense!
Is Dr Lee going to testify for the defense!
Please tell my garbage can that it shouldn't smell since everything I put in there is in plastic bags....

Yep, the one now that the dog won't sleep in her own bed, has to eat off of fine china, has dog friends over all the time and has a spiffy weekend car. Very cute. I feel like e-mailing Emma@..... whatever the address is!

Continuing with more testimony from today's witness
Dr. Henry Lee: General public will think it's very strange to hire expert before remains found, but it's common practice. JB was the one who contacted him not Casey. I examined the car, if bag was sealed odor should not come out, so many inconsistencies there, scientific evidence not that conclusive, no tissue, blood. Not necessary for blood, just body fluids.....blood is a component of decomposition.
Jason Byrd, forensic entomologist: TOD can be determined, along with knowing life stage, larvae, type of insects, etc. Without these components estimation can become very difficult.
Dr. Lee: Cannot get COD (sorry, can't understand everything he's saying)
Doesn't one of the revolving lawyers in this case, (I can't recall which one...DS, AL, somebody) run a business of offering this very service. Online aid to lawyers trying court cases?
Dr Lee: But, uh, JB is the one contacting. It's not Casey.I was contacted way before when she was first become a suspect they contact me. We did things on the car. And of course, the maggots, you know this case just has so much inconsistencies. The body in the car should have maggots, of course, now say body in the plastic bag was sealed. Then the odor should not come out. And the smell of chloroform, if the body in the plastic bag, you should not smell the chloro either. So there are so many inconsistencies here. It's an interesting case but scientific evidence really not that conclusive. Esp no blood, no tissue was found on the tape.
NG: Well now Dr Lee, hold on a minute. Both the state and def theory of death has nothing to do with bloodshed.

I rewound and wrote Dr' Lee's first part here. Hard to understand, yes!
Those are great points you made and I agree with you 100%.
What I am rolling my eyes over however, is Wendy's speed-of-light mood swings regarding this case.
First, as I said earlier, she was very anti ICA. Thought all the pieces pointed to her being guilty as sin.
Just recently, once the incest allegations started to be heard "out loud", she has been very pro-ICA. But as I say she comes across in other cases almost as a militant that any woman who ever makes these claims should NEVER be doubted, as if anyone who ever questions is evil.
And let's face it. We don't ever want a true victim of rape/incest to ever be afraid to report it for fear of not being believed. However, that being said, there certainly ARE instances where a woman may feel she can use that defense to her advantage to gain custody, a restraining order, a civil case, whatever. It DOES happen. But these cases need to be investigated, and if prosecutors feel there is no true merit - they ought to be able to say so.
Now, that the defense has shown it's slimy hand in several other key areas of this case, with the latest being throwing clearly non-connected Vasco Thompson under the bus, Wendy is rethinking her stance yet again. Militantly.
Her head is spinning and I fear she may need therapy once this is all over.
Here it is: starting at 4 minutes:

I think JA had every right to call JB out. He was making an argument and JB was not paying attention and playing with his phone. I have the same problem with my 14 year old daughter! I wonder if he will meet with them in open court or in chambers. I'll be ready at 8:30 just in case!
