JB got away with disobeying a court order AGAIN.

Sorry Caylee.

IMO

For now, he did, only for now. There may be sanctions later. His honor was not happy AT ALL, and I don't think this will be forgotten.

Does anyone else think that a half century of work equates to poor form in contemporary practice? I'm guessing Cheney wanted him. jmo

I lost the feed at some point, what happened to the first witness? was there no cross?

For one thing they were dazzled by his credentials and maybe they were starstruck.

I think that dazzle fizzled when he admitted the only facts he got for the case were from JB and CM and whatever was in the police report he couldn't remember. As well as when he was describing some other person picking up skull bones placing duct tape on them, then taking them home for a while before returning them to the woods meanwhile keeping everything in place and well preserved for the mere motivation of just keeping the skull in tact.

Not to mention his theory that the flood waters move certain things but not others.

FIZZZZZZZZZZZZZ>...

Wow! I bet there were no jurors falling asleep with Spitz on the stand. He was just way too entertaining

So...let me get this straight..

Caylee died as a result of an accident and ICA has spent three years in prison so far...may go to death row...and now we are to believe that in addition to RK and GA, Dr. G and her team are in on faking evidence to send an innocent person to death row?

OH!! Of course....how could I not have SEEN it!

Poor Dr. Spitz...he may be world renowned, but if I had been on the jury and had never heard of him he would have come across as a bit forgetful and confused...and way too emotional to come across as professional.

I feel bad for him though...JA made him look weak.

In regard to the DT using the conspiracy theory with everyone involved, doesn't it make you wonder what EXACTLY Casey did to Caylee? OMG...it must have been horrific!!!

Cheney was not on the case when Dr. S was asked to do this. It is all JB's superstar event planning that got us here.

Unbelievable - if we thought yesterday cross was bad - this cross was beyond the pale - I felt like I was at the Mad Hatter's tea party.

My head still hurts! It was so bad I don't have room to be happy for the Prosecution yet.

Well, one of the things we learned was that the doc just assumed the dirt-like substance in the skull was brain "dust".

We also learned that he didn't test it and then went on to say that if someone else wanted to do it, they could go ahead. Be his guest. :waitasec:

Okay peeps. Let's analyze what we just saw and heard. I'm curious to read what in the heck just happened.

Baez has got to know he really messed up when he got this punch of sympathy from Casey as she was leaving. Sympathy from Casey!! :loser:
Or maybe not -- he still has that cocky smile on his face.

Did anyone take a tally of the things Dr.S could not remember?

1. Doing interviews
2. If he broke the skull
3. Caylee's name

Regardless of how <modsnip> argumentative Spitz was on the stand, he still planted more seeds of doubt. moo

Ashton will bring Dr. G. back on rebuttal, and her testimony will be the last the jury will hear!

Can you elaborate on which seeds I missed? Thanks.

Let me preface this with; I am in no way favoring the defense, y'all should know that by now. BUT.
He stated that Dr G botched the autopsy and the body was moved. remember, it only takes one......juror to run with this.

Let go for the day, depos this afternoon so State can see if he can testify to things he had not put in his report given to the Court.

HHJP will address Monday.

I'm guessing this was a horrible way for this old man to retire....... JB should be held in contempt for doing this to a world-renound forensic expert.

Thank goodness he was allowed to walk out with his head held high.

I am completely blown away that Dr. Spitz actually called Dr. G's work Shoddy~!
