JA did only what he had to do - and thank goodness not all that he could have. To see this old gent reduced to less than we saw would have been terrible.

Who thinks the jury will believe that the investigators manipulated Caylee's hair in some way? I'm very pro LE so maybe I'm in the dark thinking that Dr. S's statement about that isn't going to fly with the jurors.

From what I could tell, Spitz tried to rewrite history to fit his scenario of tampering and skeleton moving. Each time JA shot down part of his theory, he seemed to do a little verbal dance, insinuating and pulling another conspiracy in to bolster the impossible.

The stuff with the hair mat was excruciating. So, if all else fails, blame the water...it was insulting, quite frankly.

I agree with the WSer who said JA should have pointed out the deterioration of the duct tape.
Wonder what Spitz would have come back with?

So...let me get this straight..

Caylee died as a result of an accident and ICA has spent three years in prison so far...may go to death row...and now we are to believe that in addition to RK and GA, Dr. G and her team are in on faking evidence to send an innocent person to death row?

OH!! Of course....how could I not have SEEN it!

Poor Dr. Spitz...he may be world renowned, but if I had been on the jury and had never heard of him he would have come across as a bit forgetful and confused...and way too emotional to come across as professional.

I feel bad for him though...JA made him look weak.

But don't forget....there IS a pool in the backyard. jk.

Let me preface this with; I am in no way favoring the defense, y'all should know that by now. BUT.
He stated that Dr G botched the autopsy and the body was moved. remember, it only takes one......juror to run with this.

All I have to do is compare his report to Dr G's report to know who has the most credence. Especially considering the fact that Dr S broke the skull (that there was no legitimate reason to open) and didn't even remember it.

What solid facts did he give to support the fact that the body had been moved? FGoodnessS, he didn't even know any of the investigative facts surrounding the case other than that the family had a pool and the "sub-adult" wasn't reported missing for a month.

No credibility at all, in my eyes. Where do you find the reasonable doubt?

At the end, Casey whispered something to Baez (after the judge mentioned working later on Saturdays)...wonder if she asked if they'd be done by then 'cause Baez nodded "yes".

IMO HHJP needs to stop blowing smoke and make good on all his threats.

To me, it was obvious that CM and JB don't believe he will follow through as they stood there and laughed openly when he said that.

No one should be worried one juror will take what Dr. Spitz said today seriously. I don't think jurors take kindly to expert witnesses accusing LE and ME of tampering with evidence to frame a defendant.

He said LE in other cases have even hid bloody clothes to tamper with evidence. His paranoid ideas don't sit well with me.

Plus, Dr. Spitz was the one that broke Caylee's skull and couldn't even remember he was the one that did it.

I'm not familiar with Dr. S. Is he usually a defense's witness? If so, then he was chosen by Baez for a distinct reason.

Don't know if you watched him during the Specter trial....I believe he is chosen for these cases because he will testify to whatever he is told to. Maybe, years ago, he had some gravitas. In recent years, all I see is a media w*@#^ with no scruples. Talk about morally bankrupt!!

Actually, I don't believe a word he said because I know better. The question is, what will the jury believe, that's all that matters at this point and I'm worried.

I believe so. I can't, off the top of my head, think of a high-profile case where he has testified for the prosecution.

Really! Unbelievable. Dr. Spitz ruined his crediblity, IMO. If he had any left after the Spector trial.
