I wonder at what point LKB will start REALLY distacing herself from this case? I saw her last night and she wasn't quite "over the top" as usual. imo

Oh and I wanted to say this before I had to pop out for a while.

I am not a huge fan of the DT, obviously. But I will say this about them in my objective view point. With the type of evidence and the pure volume of evidence presented there wasn't many ways JB and Co. could go. There were only two options, and out of the two he choose the wrong one. It's quite possible the option they went with was the only option his client allowed him to go.

There's no way ICA would have ever taken any sort of responsibility at all for Caylee's demise. None at all. So the only theory or defense that could have possibly gotten ICA off was that an accident occurred and she got scared and dumped the body after keeping it in her car for a few days.

We can't blame JB for his ridiculous theory, when it might have been ICA that put him up to it. It screams ICA actually, nothing and I do mean nothing pleases ICA more than causing pain to her family and this is one way she was certain to cause the most pain.

Don't think I've been here since Scott Peterson trial. I love watching Casey Anthony and her squirmy attorney go down the tubes. I'm not sure what possesses these defense "experts" to agree to testify when there is clearly no defense.

Oh, I can't wait for the closing arguments and verdict! Justice for Little Caylee!

Can someone with a better memory than me clarify something. When I went through Casey's letters to Robin (?) in jail, I remember her mentioning April Whalen in one of them...am I just imagining things? I don't feel like going through them all again...

Plus the only one who could have related the AW story to defense was KC. If JB is going by what his client says, how can that be his fault. The other stuff, yes, but not complying with court orders so he can get his client an advantage. This should not be looked at as if he was not trying to properly defend her. He does have arguments for his behavior it's just the judge does not buy it. Plus isn't CM just sitting there happy as a clam and not literally hanging over JB's shoulder. This was all planned and not by JB. Seems there is someone on the defense team that is better at this than JB is and has nothing to lose by playing fast and loose.

I think AW will be keeping some of this defense team up tonight. NOW we all know why the whole team filed into the holding area where they keep KC this morning. I'm sure they asked KC about AW's story prior to court and I'm sure she denied it....just another coinky dink. jmo

Hmmmmm............the DT may not have known the origin of KC's story about the drowning. She may have simply related it to them as HER own story.

Then, comes the two CD's the state presented the DT with, and the DT finds out the drowning story likely originated with April Whalen.

So DT takes KC to "the end of the hallway" and asked her to explain.

That's so sad to see. Poor little thing, still trying for that camera-smile, still trying to please, despite something clearly being wrong with her face to the point I wouldn't have recognised her as Caylee, had I seen that photo elsewhere. One side of her face (the right side from our perspective) doesn't seem to be working properly -seems frozen, as after a numbing injection for a tooth extraction. Or maybe the cheekbone area on the right side is swollen ?

I've always seen that particular photo as a kind of goofy smile. Maybe they were hamming it up and doing impressions of something? I think a lot gets projected onto these photos because we know how evil ICA is. I do not think this photo shown to someone with no knowledge of the case would raise any red flags.

I'm actually a photographer and it's amazing how different people can look within a few seconds based on catching them in a laugh or what have you.

My post of her record was not to downgrade her in any way, I posted only to see/compare the dates she was in jail as a way to "connect the dots". I didn't intend for the "meth comments" to be made & I'm sorry if it was taken out of context. You're right, she isn't on trial & she did do the honorable thing by letting the SA know the "coincidence", for that I commend her!

Also, to point out how ICA takes someone else's story & shapes it as her own...so, April, if I offended you, I'm sorry! Thank you for doing the honorable thing & to help Caylee have justice!

I agree...her pictures & the meth comments are inappropriate- but IMO it's not inappropriate to discuss the 'coincidences' of these cases. :twocents:
