bobkealing bob kealing
#CaseyAnthony Lippman has just released statement. Neither confirms nor denies "Casey is not innocent" quote attributed to him on @CNN.

Why bother? lol

Those of us old enough to remember Watergate would call this a non-denial denial. LOL

It is a red letter day indeed! I am of the opinion that since CA & GA can't speak to her (KC has refused to deal with them for years) this is definitely a message directly to KC! They want her to know they are done with her lies. I say BRAVO Anthonys!

Anyone think they (CA and GA) may reach out to the SA for immunity for obstruction and then spill the beans, forcing Casey to "tell the truth", that Caylee drown, and then she tried to stage the scene to look like a kidnapping with the duct tape etc, because she panicked. Therefore they force her hand, she "confesses" to a lesser charge and she get life, but avoids the DP??? Thoughts???

If George and Cindy really think and had their Lawyer state, that " they don't think Casey is innocent "......and we are to ponder what it is that they don't " think she is innocent of ". I guess I'll have to go with the possibility that they believe she isn't innocent of Lying to her Parents, the Police and FBI. ( One of Cindy's favorite quotes ....being a LIAR doesn't make you a murderer )

I think most important to Cindy is improving their standing and image with the world ......afterall .....WHO'S GOING TO BUY HER BOOKS? When she sits down to calculate the millions of $$$$$$$$ that can be made here.....how do you accomplish this without anyone to buy your BOOKS ?.........Just asking.....JMO

:thud:

:truce:
yeah, it's me on the floor. Staring up at the white flag.
(I think that's Cindy waving it. But I can't be sure. Because I went thud so hard the birdies make it hard to tell.)

*salts please?*

this case is so energizer bunny absurd ......on and on and on with the absurdity...

WSe'rs should have to pass a stress test to be allowed to watch.

Anything's possible but I'm not sure the SA will believe it at this late date..I also would hate to see ICA get away with a 'fake' accident scenario if it really was 'murder'..Even if the penalty ends up being the same (LWOP) either way.

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...ell-cnn-that-casey-isnt-innocent-why-now.html

“They will do all they can to help her avoid her getting the death penalty in this case,” Tuchman reported after talking to Lippman. ”They do not believe, George and Cindy Anthony, that their daughter Casey is innocent in regards to the death of their granddaughter, Caylee.”

I just logged in and found "this" to be the breaking news - didn't we know that on the first day of the trial? Of course we knew that - and they knew as soon as the SA and their lawyer informed then about the OS Baez was going to use. Why even bother suggesting an ulterior motive? The news from their lawyer must have been damning and felt heartbreaking, particularly for Cindy who has tried so hard to believe ICA was innocent. What a betrayal!

We did! Well I did - there was no doubt how they felt. :waitasec:

Her friend Annie Downing also said she would've had to have help -- that she wasn't smart enough to carry it all out alone (something like that).

Was that Annie or Amy? Not that it matters cos I don't believe she did have any help..Unless she knows another psychopath like herself we don't know about?

I never could understand that point of view. What did she do that shows any intelligence? If she did have someone help her they must be as stupid and evil as she is. If you are trying to get away with murder you don't leave the body in your car to decompose, you don't party for 31 days and lie about your child's whereabouts, you don't take cops to your fake job, you don't...well, you get the picture.

The irony in this situation, for me,is that,if CA and GA had worked with LE and the State from the beginning,I believe their feelings as victims may have avoided a the State requesting the DP.

I wish I could agree with you MissJames, but I don't think CA and GA were even minor players in any decision the SA made.

I understand that to everyone CA and GA's behavior has been unacceptable and annoying, but it had no affect at all on the LE investigating ICA's offences and no affect on the SA when they were laying charges.

Nothing the Anthony's tried to do to help or defend her caused even a blip in this investigation. Neither the SA or the LE depended on the Anthony's for any part of their investigation. To me it's pretty obvious both the LE and the SA ignored anything and everything the Anthony's did and just got on with their job.

They could be talking about her not watching Caylee when she snuck into the pool.

After seeing Cindy on the stand... I do not believe for even a second that Cindy believes Caylee drowned.

When asked about the pool
When asked about Caylee going swimming
When asked about leaving the ladder up

Cindy did not get extremely emotional.

Caylee's playhouse??? Where the dogs hit?
Caylee's bed?
Caylee's car seat?

All caused her to get very emotional.

If Cindy thought that Caylee had REALLY died in the pool that Caylee SO loved...
Cindy would have lost it... at the first image of that pool... while talking about that pool.... all of it.

Cindy does not believe Caylee died in that pool. Period.

Well, no one would believe it for goodness sakes, BUT it would be a certain outcome. No need to worry about appeal, mistrial, hung jury, aquital, etc... Just sayin

If Nancy Grace was prosecuting me, I would cop a plea just so I wouldn't have to listen to her.

This is the best way to send the message out to the masses that they WILL NOT be made the scapegoats in this mess. I am sad it took them this long to give Caylee the proper respect that she deserves. I think with this attitude, it will seal ICA's fate with a guilty verdict to spend LWOP in jail.....they will now be free to fight, at least, for her life. They can't have both and come out looking sane in all this. They can't be part of the machine that is taking the blame AND plead to spare her life. They have to do this!! I hope now Cindy regrets ever cleaning that car and saying that pizza was really rotting in that car. If they can accept Casey's guilt they can can move on from this mess.

How would anyone believe her if she did tell the truth? I know I wouldn't.

Oops...it looks like they've removed the article.:waitasec:

Awe man...I had the article pulled up, pressed the back button on the wrong tab and when I pressed the forward button to go back to the article, I got this message...Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.

And I didn't even get to read it! LOL

Hi Logicalgirl. Perhaps we agree that the moment JB presented his opening statement to the jury, GA and CA then knew that ICA had performed severe criminal actions agains Caylee.

GA and CA would have then known (I presume) that both the kidnapping and drowning stories were false, and that the possible scenarios for Caylee's death were thus reduced to one: foul play by ICA.

I can't see how GA and CA could have come to any other coherent conclusion after Day One of the trial.
