I went for a walk and was thinking about today.

I realized that Lee's testimony should have come when he was the prosecution's witness. So should Cindy's recent lies - they help the prosecution as well, maybe even more than her tears did.

Because if you put them both together, the picture it paints is of a Mother in denial about the issues her daughter has. She was fully pregnant enough for her brother to notice- Cindy aided and abetted ICA in pretending she was not, even when all evidence was to the contrary. Just like now - ICA is clearly guilty and there Cindy is once again aiding and abetting in the cover up.

The defense thinks IMO the more dysfunctional the family is shown to be, the more "excuse" ICA has for "hiding the death of her child, the way she hid her birth". However to get to that place, the defense is relying on people believing her family's testimony... the same family who lied and hid the pregnancy he's using as proof.

So the defense is basically saying: the family are all psycho liars. And to prove this, these psycho liars will now testify and I'd like you to believe everything they're saying. And that's the proof.

I'm pleased to hear you doing some thoughtful thought about this because you do some significant posting.

But, I wonder if I could point out that ICA obviously did not turn to her family - because if she had CA would not have made the 911 call, Lee would not have interrogated his sister like that, and GA would never have approached the grand jury.

In the case of the pregnancy, the family actually facilitated ICA to make the secret public - celebrating and welcoming her into the family and into their life. If we followed that same behaviour, ICA would be nicely tucked into jail at least for life - and that would be that.

The only thing I saw a very frightened Mother on the stand who knows her daughter is guilty and at the very least will get LWOP, because she sat through the SA's case and knows the DT case is bogus.

And I saw a Brother who knows his sister is guilty, wishes none of this had happened, regrets he has lost his niece and had so little time with her, knows his family is forever torn apart, and also believes his sister may get the death penalty.

That's what I saw. All you faint of heart who are talking about manslaughter have forgotten how powerful the SA's case is compared to the mess the DT has put on. The jury respects the SA and saw their anger today at the change of testimony. And every knows a mother will lie to protect her child.

PS - the tweeters in the courtroom said they couldn't see the decomp stain in the photo either. I think Baez was pulling a fast one by lightening it or else took one with a full light on which changed the look of it.

It was no big deal today - really!

I need a quick reccy here because I am still pages behind and don't get what exactly it is that everything thinks Lee lied about and why he has gone over to the other side and made deals with the defense and had prior meetings with the defense and probably did molest ICA and whatever the heck people are saying he did.

I listened to everything he had to say and didn't think it was any big deal. So what is upsetting everyone so much.

And HHJP was pretty clear he was holding the DT to the Abuse theory he used in the opening statements.

Personally I don't think he lied. I believed him when he said he is in a different place than he was back then emotionally. To me he came off more normal for lack of a better term than he has on previous testimony. I think some are still questioning what he meant by CMA at the memorial and whether or not he made a promise to ICA way back when. I also think he was very active in the case early on, taking it upon himself to do his own investigation, wearing the wire, making contacts and quite frankly acting like a detective when he was at the jail talking to Casey. He's extremely torn, and I believe he thinks his sister killed his niece. The question is, did he know?

And to add he's been called out as a molester, the emotions are beyond something I hope I never have to indure in my family.

I thought about that too cause in the city out here in WA, hawks don't usually perch on a high rise and squak. Falcons do, then tend to nest there, and I thought maybe Ol' Belvin just said hawk just cause.

I don't have a wide knowledge either... I'm just a curious dork who likes to keep on the sunny side of life. LOL :)

.......hey... WAIT A MINUTE. Do you guys remember all the times Judge Belvin has been moving the curtain and looking?? Sometimes I thought it was the weather, or the train, or even the dessert lady, but maybe IT'S THE HAWK!

Another thing whilst I'm being non sequitor: With all this power energy, there will be justice for Caylee. It sounds hipppy and crystal/rune-y maybe but I really do believe it. We all need to watch "The Polar Express." LOL

It occurred to me earlier that our collective anger and for some, hatred of CA,after her testimony ,must have some effect on her. That's a lot of negative energy coming your way!

In his cross today (which JA was impeaching him) he stated that at the beginning of the trial during break he was in on a meeting with CA & GA and not sure who else but something was being discussed that he felt like JB needed to know. JA ask why he would just go give the defense info when he would not even talk to the State.

But he testified he did not go and talk to the Defense before his testimony.

Anybody remember one of the jailhouse conversations between Lee and ICA ?
He says "is this like the last time?"

I also believe he did something with her laptop when he picked it up from TL's.

Maybe some love/hate relationship going on.

Re: your bolding ^

I have always wondered about that statement ......... however, much to my dismay, I'll probably never know. :(

Just to jump off your post on to something else, nothing about today's "circus" really surprised me. I always knew LA would lie, as well as the other two. And, of course, the DT, same ole, same ole.

However, the BOMBSHELL for me was hearing for the first time ever, Caylee was born a month early! Per CA. These folks just slay me, as we say in the South.

Today during the trial HHJP noted that there was a hawk sitting on the ledge of the courtroom's window crying. I looked up the meaning of the hawk, it's is very interesting to read.

In representation to humanity, the hawk is called messenger, protector and visionary. Keen vision is one of its greatest gifts. Hawks see things others miss.

The hawk comes to you indicating that you are now awakening to your soul purpose, your reason for being here. It can teach you how to fly high while keeping yourself connected to the ground.

As you rise to a higher level, your psychic energies are awakening and the hawk can help you to keep those senses in balance. Its message for you is to be open to hope and new ideas, to extend the vision of your life.

The Hawk is an animal of flight. It soars through the air looking down, and sees everything. It has a larger perspective of what is going on down below. With its keen eyesight, it looks down as it soars through the air looking for its prey. It can see the smallest of creatures below.

The Hawk is known as a messenger, similar to the planet Mercury, for the hawk soars close to the Grandfather Sun, as does the planet. When you listen to the power of the Grandfather Sun or Wise Spirit that lives within, you are protected from all types of harm.

The Hawk teaches you to be observant and take a close look at your surroundings. It soars with the power to overcome difficult situations. It soars in circles over the life of the earth, asking you to circle over your life and view it from a higher perspective.

The Hawk has a distinct cry, one that most people are aware of. Its cry signifies awareness. If you hear the cry of the hawk use your intuitive ability to discern the message and SEEK THE TRUTH.

If a hawk has soared into your life, you require a higher perspective. You need to see the details of what is going on and look at the bigger picture. Take a look at your situation from above.

That gave me chills. Seriously.

We are listening Caylee <3

Yes, that's what I heard also. That he is in a different place. Lee has moved from not wanting to believe it to acceptance. He just doesn't want to be part of helping her die. And his regret about not having more of a life with Caylee to me was just bleeding out all over the stand. And his regret that his sister has done this thing.

I think he just didn't want to help either side.

Every time I see LA doing that "boo-hoo, boo-hoo" on the stand, it make me SICK!! Is he another ME person in this family...."They didn't include ME" boo-hoo.....I saw the eye poke too!!

And...
Before JA even said it to LA on cross, I was thinking, here we go again with LA...non-answering each JA question, until after reviewing his depo. LA had no problem rolling off answers for each DT question. And, JA asked him exactly that today..with a non-answer, of course!

LA was clueless about the activities in the A's house when he lived there? Had no idea there was major baby-is-coming remodeling going on in the bedroom next to his, which used to be a den/computer room?
Nope not buying it, LA.
:banghead::twocents::loser::waitasec::sick::maddening:

OOOo.... That's better info. Yeah, all I remember was it was good and about family. LOL

Now that bit about seeing 4 of them was funny. lol

What kind of hawk do you think it is in FL?

We have a lot of Red Hawks here in Central Florida. I have a few living in the pine forest behind my house. My german shepherd always wants to go back inside whenever it is flying around overhead.

I drove to my 80 yr old mother's today. She had told me she was watching the trial but we haven't discussed it otherwise. She didn't watch the hearings so I wanted her take on it. When I walked in she was watching and told me she couldn't believe what liars the A's are. She thinks there's no doubt KC is guilty. While we were watching, my 84 yr old uncle walked in. He said "Why is this trial taking so long? Everyone knows she killed her child." That made me feel pretty good about the jury until my younger sister walked in and said "She's innocent, the boyfriend did it." LOL I guess my point is, anyone who half way pays attention knows who the murderer is unless they are a TH.

Thanks! I'm interested in hearing about people who didn't follow the case like we've done here - reading documents and discussing it. The opinion of those who are watching the trial and hearing the evidence for the first time means a lot.

 You know what... it JUST occurred to me that I saw this episode on The Young and the Restless, and in the end ICA's in jail for life but has an evil twin who comes to town, who was locked up for years, that nobody knew about and THAT, was, the family's secret.

Lee and Casey were in cahoots. Casey murdered Caylee. No drowning. Lee helped her dispose of the body.

All I know is that I now am exhibiting a flat affect, just like ICA. I have NO EMOTION anymore. I can't get excited about the prosecution, I can't freak over the defense. I am just....dead inside. That is how I feel today.
So I guess in a sense JB is right, just listening to the A's this week made me "flat"....I can only imagine living with them.

I'd love to know what he meant also.
Interested in "I didnt say anything" too.

Darn I just looked at the clock and I have another "obligation" to do. And speaking of collective anger, I've been expecting some to be coming my way to do with CA and compassion.

So later this evening, I am willing to discuss why I believe CA's grief about Caylee on the stand was real, and why I don't share the group belief that CA is spitting on Caylee's memory by testifying as she did.

She is terrified ICA will be found guilty and given a death penalty. Fortunately the jury will see that and see what CA is trying to do. Just look at what a different "persona" she presented today from the last times she was up. She wasn't fooling anyone.

But I digress. Compassion to me is not limited to the boundaries of what is acceptable to me in my own behaviour. If it was I'd never work to get a girl off the street, I'd never open my door to my brother who fell off the wagon again, and I certainly wouldn't drop a dollar in the cup of a street person I knew was going to probably not spend it on food.

But later, we can discuss.
