Can't - Don't agree! CA has ICA and Caylee in two different "boxes" if you will. What she feels for Caylee has nothing to do with ICA. In other words, it is not a matter of choosing one over the other.
We saw her love and grief for Caylee - that was real. Yesterday we saw her love for ICA - terrible she would lie to try and save her child - but there it is.
Two different things - we see it as pick one - CA does not.
Once you "get" that - then whatever CA does will not upset you nearly as much. CA is going with her basic instinct - mother lion protects her cub...

I agree with you. I cannot, I just cannot blame a mother for trying to save her child´s life.

TH's all over various shows felt CA was not truthful but that she would never be charged. They all said that parents lying for their kids on the stand happens every day.

I guess that makes it ok? :dunno:

I think a lot of us thought LDB should have asked CA more questions, but remember that LDB was caught off guard just like the rest of us. A good lawyer never asks a question they don't already know the answer to. This put LDB in a difficult spot. But I have no doubt that everything will come out eventually and CA will be shown to be a liar just like her daughter.
Also, in the end this issue is small potatoes compared to the rest of the evidence - yes it would have helped prove ICA's sudden interest in chloroform but the levels in the trunk plus the chloroform in the syringe at the remains site are also very powerful. And again this jury isn't stupid, they'll be able to put two and two together (I hope!)

I don't think LDB was caught off guard about CA's testimony,I think she was caught off guard that CA would be testifying YESTERDAY. I don't think JB included her in yesterday's list to the State .Dirty pool,but you don't have anything ............................:loser:

I have a feeling that JB went to George and Cindy and said 'look" they are going to put Casey to death the state has a strong case here if you don't do something your daughter is going to die. Do you want that you have already lost your granddaughter and cannot bring her back now is your chance to help your daughter. You love your daughter don't you well help us save her life. I really believe this was a conversation had and this is my own feeling not something that was actually said.

And hadn't GA stated previously something to the effect that he would lie for Caylee and/or ICA? I hope the defense didn't jump on that and convince him to do so.

I posted something similiar to this in the trial thread but the door slamed in my face too quick. LOL

Her attitude in the beginning of this trial was short and blunt to JB. It is a complete 180 now.
