Thank you all for your warm responses. I pray that we are given the strength to get through another day.

I must admit that it has been a long time since I've felt any sympathy for George and Cindy. The only reason they have given out bits and pieces of the truth is because they realized that George was getting thrown under the bus. It was never for Caylee Anthony. They turned their backs on that little girl almost 3 years ago.

It is all about family now or more correctly---'keeping up appearances' They have an us versus them attitude. That is, the Anthony family versus the rest of the world, so they will do anything to show the world that they are "united" Even if George lies and tells the jury that he molested Casey, Cindy will still feel no shame and continue to act like a happy, united family (with a few imperfections of course) She will act as though the molestation of Casey and the death of Caylee is a family matter that can be resolved and that we (prosecution, public etc) are the ones that are crazy. She is as cunning as Casey.

Anyway I admire Jeff Ashton and Linda Drane Burdick so very much. They are such wonderful heroes for OUR Caylee. Can't wait to get started!!

Good morning fellow sleuthers. I don't add too much during trial, we already have a bunch of posters who echo my thoughts.


However, I have found myself a great positive side to the more infuriating of testimony of lawyering.


During the crazy or inane questionings, I thank the team for making me feel 'superior' lol. I now don't feel stupid for not having acquired a degree (busy with parenting for 30+ years and counting). They make me feel 'smarter than a fifth grader'.


When the witnesses, whether experts or family are telling whoppers, I congratulate myself, safe in the knowledge that I personally attempted to end this cycle by rearing children who were kind and well mannered into adults with integrity.

Tomorrows criminals will have at least 8 fewer people who would lie or cheat for them, whilst continuing to love them. I'll take my personal story to the apt area later, but I have gained many positives from observing this dysfunction.

Yes, but from my understanding of the testimony, the ONLY thing deleted was the search history for chloroform. Do you go into your computer and just pick and choose certain things to delete?

I think it is a double-edged sword for SA. If they let it go they risk doubt about who did the search. If they prove she was at work they show KC has learned to lie from her family and CA would be capable of lying about GA. Not an easy decision for them to make.

Anyone on the jury that is aware of body language would see CA was lying because everytime she told a lie she pursed her lips....it's a big red flag. jmo

I think for the SA it would be more about proving that it was ICA making those searches than exposing CA...but they will cross CA to prove it and let the chips fall where they may. I think they are biding their time until they can gather all their eggs together.

Someone mentioned earlier feeling disillusioned after CA's testimony yesterday... That's exactly how I feel. In the beginning when CA testified for the State, I thought for some reason that she had come to her senses. I also had faith in our justice system... Now, I'm kind of skirred about how this is all going to turn out. I went to the grocery store this morning, and ICA was on the cover of a magazine (mighta been People) the headline? " Getting Away With Murder"......... I really hope the jury doesnt take CA's testimony yesterday the way JB intended; and they see thru it just as those of us who have long followed the case did, but.........

Good morning! I am sorry to start the day with this heart breaking picture of little Caylee. I saw it yesterday at the Lillian Glass blog. I think the jury should see that picture, this is a desperate little child holding its hands up for help. Just heart breaking when you know she ended up dead. :sick:

She googled chlorophyll because her yorkie dog was sleeping a lot, unlike all the dogs who, we all know…don’t do that. She wanted to know if chlorophyll was knocking her dog out, see. So then that led to chloroform and there you go, the next thing we know Cindy was researching chloroform like a meth addict researches ephedrine. It’s worth noting there weren’t any searches of chlorophyll found on the desktop.

Morning Everyone

The thing striking me about CA's testimony yesterday is it sounds like another Zanny story. Well I was clocked in at work but I wasn't working that day. I was searching for chlorophyll from the leaves of bamboo trees. The company told me to do the time clock that way when I took time off. I swear I was listening to ICA discuss Zanny in her fantasyland. It was because the dogs made me do it.

I'm thinking the acorn didn't fall too far from the tree.

Listening to Cindy yesterday reminded me SOOOOO much of that story Casey told about the whole "car-accident/Zanny's-in-the-hospital/sister-coming-to-pick-her-up" story. Such an elaborate yarn, full of extraneous and convenient details.

I couldn't help but think even as Cindy recounted the story on the stand, how funny it was that she could recall so many details of Casey's fairy tale. Now I can see it's clearly a talent that runs in the family.

What's up with these people and dogs? Gerus and Bones conspired to hit on the same spots in the backyard and the car....The feral dogs/coyotes are tampering with evidence burying the bones ...The little pet Yorkies are causing poor Cindy to search for chloroform. I almost forgot Xanny's white dog blamed for Caylee's scratched up leg.

BTW --- the prosecution should not grill CA on rebuttal. Just lay out the evidence of work records and allow her to dig herself a bigger hole by spinning it. No need to spell it out, the jury will see what we see. A parent who is lying to 'save' their child.


I'd address it in close with a very gentle type of talk.

We can all understand why CA would want to lie (pointing to the obviousness) to save her daughter, we all understand the lengths that a 'loving' parent would go to. (pivot) I am sure that Caylee would have liked to have a mother who loved her as deeply, instead she was born to a cold calculated selfish person, who discarded her once something (men and partying) more entertaining came along.

I agree but I think there are ways for the PT to make the jury very aware of this, as I said before, via other more credible witnesses and evidence without giving the Anthonys themselves further opportunities to tell more lies on the stand. I keep coming back to JB's constant and unrelenting attacks on Dr Vass. The thing is, the more JB tries to refute and diminish the importance of the Dr's very compelling and convincing evidence the more he achieves the opposite effect IMO, he just emphasises and underlines how very worrying he finds the good Dr's testimony and thus gives it MORE weight rather than less weight. I just think that the PT could be at risk of doing the same thing with regards to CA's testimony yesterday if they allow themselves to be distracted by it and concentrate on rebutting that instead of putting all their efforts into reinforcing ALL the damning forensic evidence and testimony against ICA that they have put forward so far.

Yes, I trust the pros. In the end though, I do hope she will be charged for perjury. I think the public needs to be made aware that lying on the stand is against the law. It doesn't matter who or what you are.

For me the only victim in this case is Caylee. I would not wish what the Anthonys went through on my worse enemy but how they conducted themselves only reinforces my belief that this family thinks they are superior to the rest of the world.

I will miss bits & pieces of the trial today as I have some things to do. I return to work Monday from this medical and have been getting nothing done because I have been glued to both the TV and computer.
Does anyone know who will be called to the stand today?

I think Baez plans to call Mephitopheles and ask him who did the searches for 'soul selling' on the Anthony's computer.

Called our Vet's assistant this morning, and she is going to make some calls to see if we can get Cheeto into a rescue facility for special needs kitties. They also adopt out, so hopefully we can get this little girl a good home. Fingers crossed.

What I mean by this, is…. If she would have started out with

CA, in this pause would more than likely, make some reference to ICA being put to death,

Than LDB could have said “this is very hard watching your daughter on trial and losing your Granddaughter isn't it?" ………………………………..

Another very long pause, CA would fill this in,

Than As LBD would look over her glasses, tilt her head slightly to the right, first at the jury than at CA and say,

“So, now you are stating you did these searches, while your work says you were at work?”

I think it would have given the thoughts to the jury just what really was happening there.

Couldn't agree more... somehow they act like they harbor resentment for LE, SA, and anyone else who has tried since the beginning to find Caylee...and in the end, to at least bring her justice. It makes no sense to me, and personally I think I've lost all respect for the Anthony's. It's a sad day when strangers are the only ones standing up for the life of a young, innocent little girl.

Guess she never figured out how to spell it...LOL I would think a nurse would know how to spell chloroform.

Hard to know what the jury thinks because we are all so close to this case, know the facts of this case, it's difficult to distance ourselves to see what they would see with a fresh set of eyes and ears...but even then I think she was quite suspicious in her testimony. Her demeanor was quite different than when she was on the stand before and I'm sure the jury heard LDB tone of voice, which should have given them a clue that she was lying.
