Linda Kenney Baden is screeching now, so I am off to make myself a drink, thats the only way I can listen to her. Listening to NG say tot mom is easier.

When she said 'you can't go na na na na na na and not pay attention' --- I picked up the remote, said out loud "oh yeah? watch this!" and changed the channel.

I like the idea of a VIRTUAL gym. :innocent:

I've been looking at that treadmill that inclines and has the virtual route set on the machine. You can google maps and the see the route or follow your route and the machine inclines according to the actual terrain.

Since I can't drink ,and I've eaten all the junk food in the house,I think I'll go order one now,to make myself feel better .

II can't wait to see ICA 's face when she hears GUILTY.

Let's all do hand weights and work out a different body part at every side bar. Arms first, then tummy, then squats, then ... whatever else one does if one is especially athletic. lol

Actually, when this is over, I'm looking forward to a Dateline special when JA and LBD can actually do an interview and tell us what they really think of this case! :gavel:

question and comments:

Question: How did the judge rule on what to tell the jury about Rodriguez, my kids were having a meltdown?

Comments:

1. Lee Anthony's pants are on fire
2. JA came dangerously close to punching JB in the mouth at approximately 5:15 EST during the Rodriguez discussion
3. If my internet ever crashes on a day like this you'll we websleuthing about my trial as I'm going raise some double hockey stix with my ISP
4. I really hate LKB, really I do.....:maddening:

WESH keeps repeating that CA's testimony that she looked up chloroform is hurting the state's case, but didn't someone look up "How to make chloroform" and CA said it wasn't she that did it. Is SA going to bring that out on rebuttal.......any opinions?

LDB released Sgt. Stenger yesterday with subject to recall so I would think so. I think the rebuttal will be computer forensics, cell phone info, forensic botany and maybe, hopefully, meshing out the motive a bit clearer for the jurors.

Sorry, I'm evil. I love that Casey wouldn't be caught dead in these clothes.

Who's looking at the clothes. What's with the posture?

Have a feeling JB may need an attorney of his own when this trial is over.

I wonder if LDB and Mr. George said to the DT at the end...you mess with him (JA)...you're mess'in with us!
The line has been drawn, my friends.

That's how it goes in my head - Linda and George didn't look like they were messing at the end either, they looked equally pizzed and looked like they were throwing down the gauntlet, I think they both handed papers over so can't wait to here what that was about.

Having worked for the U. S. Government, I cannot see them giving Rodriguez approval to testify in this or any other case. I wondered how in the world they got someone from DOD to testify. It's really like working for the mafia, you aren't allowed to have an opinion....on anything!

I couldn't even support my local sheriff/marshall/anyone running for a public office...couldn't put a sign in my yard! No way this guy got permission! He did this on his own, took vacation days to get his 5 minutes of fame, didn't expect anyone to see him since it was on Friday but he had to stay over for the SA's depo.....

No, the DOD doesn't work on Saturday, but you can bet his Supervisor was home clicking through the channels, saw him and put a quick stop to that.

bbm

his supervisor is a captain in the us army.... (dh is a ltc). they work 24/7.. if someone saw Dr. R on tv (which JA said happened) you can bet the company commander was hot on the cell phone to straighten out the mess that Dr. R made by taking an "expert witness on the side" job while also working for the DoD

((I have often times threatened to throw DH's cell phone out the window.. he currently has three of them: his personal phone, the phone for the unit he is in charge of currently, and a phone for the unit he is deployed with for the summer... ))

short answer=army peeps never are off duty:twocents:

When Judge P was talking about whether he would give the case to the jury on a Friday night and they would deliberate an hour or two, he meant before breaking for the night, which is why he thinks it better to give it to them on a Saturday morning. He didn't mean they would only need an hour or two to deliberate in total...not sure if this is the way some people took it?

Most jurisdictions, including FL, require a mistrial for a deadlocked jury. The prosecution can choose to refile charges and start all over again, if they believe it's in the best interests of the state to do so. A defendant may or may not go free while awaiting a new trial. I am not sure what the case would be with Casey if a mistrial took place but assuming she would stay in jail to await a new trial.

Hopefully JP will say 'go on back, keep trying to reach a unanimous verdict' at least a couple times before that happens.

I understand Lee was supposed to be upset because he was not "included" in the birth of Caylee but I still do not understand WHY that was so upsetting? I do not understand how the defense can claim in opening statements that George "put his penis" in Casey's mouth and that "Lee so wanted to follow in his father's footsteps..." and then have Lee crying on the stand that he was not there to see Casey in a intimate situation. How they can let him say he was "waiting for her outside the bathroom" and "noticed her midsection."

If I were on the jury I might infer the reason Cindy and Casey didn't want him there was because "Lee so wanted to follow in his father's footsteps" and had molested Casey. Remember! Casey told Cindy what Lee was doing to her and Cindy stated that must be why Casey was such a 🤬🤬🤬🤬. :dunno:

Justice for Caylee!~ Watch for the hawk!

did you use duct tape at the kidifinders tent - yes
for what - to tape down tablecloths and to hang posters

Unless I didn't hear, she didn't say who brought the tape there. She just said they used it.....

Did I hear there at the end Baez whining because the State gets to do their rebuttal case, then their closing argument, then the rebuttal to the closing argument--did he really say that he objects to the structure of the State being allowed to "testify" so many times?

Did he REALLY go to law school?

That is the way the justice system is set up--at the end of the defense's case, the State gets an opportunity to rebut, then come closing arguments for the State, then the defense rebuts, then the State finishes.

What parallel universe is he really from?

Will Judge Perry ever be allowed to say what he really thinks about this case? Sure would be interested in knowing.:waitasec::maddening::floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Now HIS book, I'll buy!!!

Oh no, Colombo died? :(

Anyone know what the new Motion is, that Judge P, was referring to?

TIA

I think it was a motion for mistrial but there is something different about it as HHJBP said something like he would hold a hearing on it.
