Cripes. I fell asleep after Cindy's 3rd. time on the stand. Mike Galanos from HLN kept repeating it was a monumental day for the defense. I thought it was snooze fest.

LKB says the defense is bringing a motion against the dept of defense for intimidating a witness. Probably ask for a mistrial because of that. How will the judge handle that? That does seem wrong wrong wrong.

Think it might have been Rodriquez finding out he would lose his job if he testified. The way they said something like JA mysteriously got a call from the supervisors

What was the separating the jury about?

HHJP was just reminding the attorneys that the following Monday is a holiday. The jurors will have to remain separate and sequestered from Saturday noon to Tuesday morning. They will not be able to deliberate. That is not okay.

with TH's acting like the pictures of Caylee in the pool basically prove she drowned?

Doesn't everyone have pis of their kids in pools. It's like Dr S-he knew they had a pool so, ergo, she drowned. I know TH's are just talking to talk but it's rather insulting to one's intelligence but then so is the entire defense case I guess.

When she said 'you can't go na na na na na na and not pay attention' --- I picked up the remote, said out loud "oh yeah? watch this!" and changed the channel.

My darling gal, you won't lose your peeps at all! I have two words for you - Drew Peterson. That'll hopefully be the next big one on the docket.

Only problem with Peterson's trial, is it won't be televised...Illinois doesn't allow cameras in the courtrooms. But I will be there, virtually, with ya, Cherry! :)

Anybody else notice this? At the end of the court day, right before ICA is led away, she looks to her DT to say goodbye, they don't even acknowledge her.

March 17, 2008 was the 77th day of the year. March 21st, 2008 was the 81st day of the year. That's when Chloroform was searched on the Anthony computer. Thus, the number 84 has nothing to do with the date of the searches, it has to do with how many times the site was visited. Here's a calendar for anyone interested in doing the math themselves: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/?year=2008

I hope the state clears this up.

RE Drew Peterson

He and ICA would make a real power couple IYKWIM though she's a bit old for him (now)

Oh, the thought of THAT just made my skin crawl and my blood go cold. But you're so, so right.
Can't wait to see the look on his smug face when we find Stacy. And we WILL. No matter how long it takes.

ETA:
I hope neither one of them (ICA/DP) EVER has the ability to read here, (hi Mr. Brodsky!! :seeya:) I'd hate to see them become pen pals.

I am thinking the majority of the jurors will be ready to conclude on July4th. Enough is enough. Fireworks will be set off all over the country for Caylee.

OT bbm

And hopefully it won't be his last. Stacy's out here somewhere and we're still looking for her.

AMEN.

I am also hoping and praying we will someday be watching some one on trial for Kyron, Hayleigh, Hailey, Holly Bobo, and the little toddler in New Breunfel.
[ just to name a few...]

((((glad the lady who had the 4th of july vacation planned got let go off jury duty LOL))))

Two weeks for the penalty phase???

I just have to add a few things (military family for 20 years)

1) JAG will make mincemeat pie of Jose if that happens

2) Dr. R signed certain things when becoming employed with the DoD which includes him not taking on side show jobs as an expert witness

3) They (dod) have every right to fire him even for going as far as he did (he started to testify...)

4) Dr. R didn't even mention this to his supervisor to get permission (which would have been denied) and they saw him on teevee so trust me... JAG most likely already is involved/consulted anyhow.

5) how will hhjp handle that: he will have the captain testify who will have JAG present and they will have all the policies in front of them... short and sweet. Everyone will go home and Dr. R may be out of a job.

You know, Lee crying on the stand about how he was excluded from knowledge of the pregnancy etc etc doesn't mean squat really, other than the family values may impart a tendency to encourage someone to cover up an accident, including a pregnancy and death.

Beyond the more subtle message there, I can't help but think at least some of those jurors are going to have that feeling that there are stones left unturned that have bearing on the case. Casey totally losing it along with her brother is a powerful visual that will stick with the jurors.

Yeah, what is up with that soap opera music? Is Erica Kane involved in this?

How fortunate to find this picture...just in time. One point that struck me was that she had her back to the photographer. How many pictures to you take of your child's back?, I usually make a noise or say smile or something just so I would have that child's face in the shot.
One would hardly say this is a picture of my grandbaby's back...would never make it into the family album.

i use to take picture of my girls back just so u could see there whole hair style

Something I am very concerned about is the 84 concept. That computer search took place on the 84th day of the year. I think 84 visits is a misinterpretation and I hope they don’t hang their hats to heavily on that one.
I counted and did not get 84...try it and tell me what number you get.

Does anybody know what document it was that HHJP was referencing the DT and SA read before closings arguments? Sounded like HHJP doesn't want sloppy objections or other violations during closing. IMO he's put up with enough already. Also, I think he did it mostly for the benefit of JB, rather than send him back to 1st semester law school...

Missed another day due to work, but reading along looks like I would have just been aggravated most of the day any way  lol...

Thanks to all of you for the great updates and posts so those of us who missed it can read up and catch up :blowkiss:

I say five minutes. But they'll wait maybe an hour to make it look good, lol. I think every one of them already knows their vote.

I am so glad you guys are all so positive on the jury.... I need some positive juice ((nurse passes cup))
