After watching this clip, thank you, it appears that ICA is directly involved. It was reported that Baez was with her earlier in her cell. When Court starts, ICA walks in and Baez is NOT happy. It goes downhill from here.

The next clip shows ICA with Medina, then Mason and Baez in the cell w/her. She is brought back to court, she flails her arms as if to say, "I give up".

As soon as she is seated, Mason wants to call a sidebar. They do. Then all attorneys part and look glum. HHJP speaks and they pack up and leave.

Sound familiar? While I don't believe MBPS is a factor in Casey Anthony's case it is obvious that early on she was all about Casey and she enjoyed attention ... and lots of it. The comparison of Casey Anthony to MBPS shows what extreme lengths individuals will go to get what they want ... like drugging and killing their child in order to go out to party ... covering up the death by blaming it on nanny abduction ... fabricating stories about being sexually abused by your father and brother ... and the list goes on. IMO ... her actions / behavior after Caylee "disappeared" spoke volumes about her mentality. As in the case of MBPS, she had also finally gotten what she wanted and even got a tattoo to commemorate it! Bella Vita ... beautiful life. I'm sure, at that point in time her ego probably wouldn't allow the possibility but I believe she may find the rest of her life a little less attractive behind bars.

I do not see any history of Munchausen applicable to Caylee. There are no records of sudden illnesses, hospitalisations, etc that I would expect to see. All the identifying factors you mention in your 2nd paragraph would be expected with pretty much every cluster b personality disorder as well. That's what I think we see with Casey Anthony. A woman afflicted with comorbid PD. JMHO

I think I have read most of this thread and I did a search but didn't find this mentioned... CM said on Thursday something like he heard that there were logistical issues with feeding the jury on Saturday...? Could that be all it was?

My impression at the time was that CM was saying he had heard from someone else that there could not be extended hours Saturday because there was no way to provide lunch for everyone on Saturday (previously they have ended before lunch on Saturdays). Maybe the cafeteria was closed? I went back and played it again, here's what I hear...starting about 30:05.

JP: Court will be in recess. One last thing, tomorrow you need to tell me, and uh, be prepared, uh, to go to uh, 2:30-3:00, Saturday. We will break at noon for an hour for a short lunch. (pause) Dr. Mason, you look a little bewildered...
CM: Uh, only because I had heard a conversation about a logistical problem (inaudible) with feeding the jury and media and so forth...
JP: Feeding who?
CM: The jury.
JP: (laughs) If there are logistical problems, no one has informed me of any logistical problems. (laughs) Well, I am quite sure if there are any logistical problems they will tell me, if not I will assume there are no problems. We're in recess.

Sorry if OT but,
I'm watching NY Ink and a woman came in and wanted a tattoo of her daughter's newborn footprints on her forearm along with her name and birthdate... as she was getting tattooed, we find out the baby died at birth and after a YEAR of depression and mourning, the woman wanted to commemorate her daughter that she knew for seconds via this tattoo.
THIS is the kind of memorial tattoo one gets for their deceased child!! NOT Bella Vita.... Sigh.

If there were no logistical issues with feeding them, I guess the cafeteria workers were probably peeved that they had to order food to prepare and schedule people to work that shift and then everyone got sent home. :doh:

No, I don't think so because they had at least 4 to 6 witnesses sitting and waiting in the witness room. I think they would have at least gone until 1 pm if lunch were the only problem. imoo

I see JB as very inexperienced. He has made some horrible mistakes, he cannot question a witness at all, he has no idea how to authenticate a document, how to impeach someone, etc. I also see him as too arrogant to realize his ignorance and that is very dangerous. A good attorney must be humble and realistic enough to know when they need practice, assistance, whatever.

I really do not think when he took the case he expected a DP case. I think someone here posted, most of his clients before had plead out. I really believe he thought that would be the case here.

THANK YOU. You are so right on. She claims that "Bella Vita" is a memorial for Caylee. So just how did little Caylee have such a 'beautiful life' if she ended up triple bagged in a garbage dump before her 3rd birthday?

I don't know what his beef is, but he has always been prickly about Saturdays.

Sorry. Jose was whining to GR that the court was making him narrow the testimony of his witnesses and today he whined about the same thing, only with Furton. Does this have to do with the judge asking them what their defense was? Or was this a plan in action yesterday and Jose getting his argument out into the media before he said the same thing this morning.

JB should be thanking his lucky stars that HHJP is there to prevent him from suborning perjury. It's not like he doesn't have ENOUGH strikes against him with the state bar as it stands.

I thought the same thing but there is more to it. Before this CM was yelling at the DT when they were in back with KC. When the PT is going in back with the DT, JB does not want it on the record but JA insists. CM motioned to DS to keep KC away. DS gets the female DT to take her in another room so KC cannot read the transcript on DS laptop. The two female junior DT's are reading the laptop. Their reaction looks like something big is going on and they do not look happy. Every time the door opens where KC is, the 2 female DT's jump apart and look at door like they don't want KC to hear what they are saying. The other male DT looks nervous. While this is going on, CA reads a text and looks up at GA with clear surprise on her face. GA looks at it and says OMG. CA gets up and leaves. When KC enters the courtroom she throws her hands up in the air like she's angry. DS closes her laptop so KC can not read it. JB enters first then CM. CM looks sick (I don't mean physically). HHJP keeps his cool until he steps down to talk to the jury. He's walking fast and not looking happy. When he returns he walks past KC but does not look at her. She openly smirks at him and leans forward to watch him. Looks to me like she's thinking "Got cha" All this leads me to think the DT just found out about some incriminating evidence against KC and are accusing JG of hiding it.

I saw much of this as well, but I'm going to look at it again. I started viewing late and started when KC came out flailing the arms. I thought she looked like she had been crying but have been corrected on that. (Every day her eyes seem puffier and puffier to me - not sleeping well?)

I believe there was a point when CA and KC were both out of the room at the same time. I thought that very odd, but then I learned from posts like yours that KC was in the holding cell. I need to match those two up because when it happened I was surprised to say the least. I wonder if those two have been texting and got caught. That would make for some late nite reading!

I have thought this all along about Cindy being in the courtroom. She is taking notes and then can use that for when she testifies.

Also, being that in this day and age, there are records of everything. Did anybody else find it odd that when LDK asked Cindy, "So if we go back and check your work records to see if you were there." Cindy right away said, "Oh I am sure they are gone." Makes me wonder if she checked to see how far back employer kept records.

The first one I saw I was only 21 in nursing school sooo....
IMO the tape was to stop that til she figured out what to do..

Part of me thinks that she did not witness her daughter die. I think she left her in the trunk with the tape and let her die while she was with her man of the hour.
