Thank You for responding, Nali87! The couple of times that I've tried both threads were closed though. Hmmm, maybe I just happened along during housekeeping or something? <shrugs>

There is also a 24 hour chat that you can go into (although I have never been) I belive there are links indicated where some of the research materials are...

In opening stmt JB said that ICA saw GA carrying Caylee and she was already dead (drowned in the pool). I *think* GA was trying to get across here that he never discovered Caylee dead anywhere....

MOO

Yes...IMO he was conveying that he himself personally never found his granddaughter (refuting the DT's opening that GA had found Caylee lifeless in the family pool).

Thank you! I thought that might have been what he was saying...but watching it again made me wonder...

Sorry, I am sure this has already been discussed, but I really had to take a break when Court finally adjourned.

Could someone pretty please tell me what ya'll figured out about the jail guards' proffers? What was JB's point? To show that ICA is a model prisoner? To sway public opinion? Did ICA make him do it so she could listen to people say nice things about her? Both the guards seemed very uncomfortable in my opinion.

TIA - this trial is making me

Also, why would OCSO have had a necropsy done on the snake?

The defense wanted to prove consistency. They wanted to show that ICA acts inappropriately in situations such as grief or stress. Being in jail is stressful yet ICA was/is happy and pleasant just like she was during the 31 days Caylee supposedly drowned.

Anyone? Did I hear GA say "to this day, I have not found my granddaughter"? WTH?

Let me try this one, I speak a little Anthony. I think what George meant is that what was found is basically a pile of bones. What he was looking for/wants is his sweet little flesh and blood granddaughter.

EDIT: Guess my Anthony is a little rusty. I see there are better answers above.

They said they had 7 witness left to testify, who do you think they are?
Doctor (Is she a life doctor)
Cindy
George
Lee

Jessie Grund
Vaso Thompson (about the phone calls)
River Cruz

BBM. I agree those out of the 7, but I think Roy's son will also be called. Is Robyn Adams still in the county jail. We didn't hear from her yet, did we?

I have no idea either. Unless it is a preamble to the grief dr coming up, maybe her being nice and cooperative is a "sign". But the jail house videos we saw with convos with her family sure were not pleasant. After all this time, I would think adapting is a good sign...

If the defense is allowed to bring in the grief counselor, the prosecution needs to bring in a psychiatrist to explain, in general terms of course, that murdering sociopaths do not react the same way as other people and they adapt very well in jail/prison.

I messed up on my original post. I meant to say would not help the defense.

And I don't understand bringing in a grief counselor. The lady hasn't even seen ICA? What are they thinking, I don't think it will come in. I could see bringing her in at the penalty phase.

Yes, I heard that too and had the same WTH response.

With this cast of characters, I seriously wonder if the jury thinks sometimes that they are being punked?? :)

HHJP says no. I forgot exactly how he put it. It's not coming in.

I agree with TH on this. Her smiling and pleasant everyday while she is standing trial for the DP for the murder of her child would "NOT" help the defense.

Irrelevant. What does Casey's demeanor in a 6x8 cell have to do with the murder of her daughter? The court ruled she was competent to stand trial so her behavior behind bars is a huge waste. Furthermore, it's not about Casey. It's about Caylee.

If I sound frustrated, please don't think it's directed at you. I'm tired of the circus by this defense.

I don't think the state would be that irresponsible to bring in a psychiatrist/psychologist that hasn't actually studied ICA. I'm a bit surprised that the DT wants to do something along those lines. JA or LDB will depose of that nonsense very quickly.

Hey now! I just realized, we didn't get any shots, or cocktails or anything! :snooty:
I guess we are all on punishment! :giggle:

:blowkiss: to all of our mods! I can't imagine what you have to deal with, and I hope I did not do anything to cause you extra work!

If I did, I sincerely apologize! :yourock: I thank you for all that you do!

Ok, well that makes more sense. I thought I was losing my mind with another Anthony not believing the baby is dead. That family messes with my mind!

LOL...I think your explanation is as good as any. Who knows any more!?:waitasec: Thank you~

Thank You, Eaglemom! I tried that, followed the directions given here at WS and was able to enter and view the chat room but couldn't find a place type my comments. I must've sat there for 20 minutes trying to figure it out before I just said "Ummm, yeah okay...forget it", LOL.

BBM - What else are they supposed to do? It's not like they have anything concrete to work with. This is actually, probably the best defense they could have put on for her. A bunch of accusations, smoke and mirrors and obfuscation in the attempt to confuse the jury... Their only hope is that some of the junk they have put out there sticks in someones mind enough to cause dissension among the jurors and cause a hung jury.
