I just keep the stream up on my laptop, and when they go to commercial , I watch the live stream ,switch back when the are in commercial.If In Session and HLN both carry it, sometimes, they go to commercial together sometimes they dont so I switch back and forth. HTH

I do the same thing. I don't get IS on my cable package. But I watch HLN, but they go to community programming twice an hour for 6 minutes. So I have learned to refresh my livestream right after they come back on at HLN so my computer does not freeze up when the tv cuts out for 6 minutes. LOL [ I think watching me do that is what makes my family think I am NUTZ.]

But do the alternates go into dilberations? I thought I heard/read they do not?

The alternates do not go into the deliberations. In some cases they are released when deliberations begin. However, I would be surprised if they are released until after the entire trial is over, incl penalty phase if it goes to that.

Too much is at stake for there to be a mistrial due to no alternates being on hand if something happens to a juror while on deliberations or penalty phase.

I know. Then you have to grab the remote and mute the tv so you can hear the computer!! :woohoo:

Not according to the lawyer thread. On the lawyer thread it states that an attorney can come up with a theory they believe is in good faith of the evidence.

I've seen that on the lawyer thread as well but I've also seen lawyers on TV completely disagreeing with that so I'm really confused.

The little abc thing is almost cut off on the far right of my screen. I think that is why I never noticed it before. I wonder if it has to do with the size of the computer screen and the resolution? I have a large computer screen. (I am no computer wiz!)

you probably have your screen enlarged and you don't see it.

click on the screen with your mouse then hit Ctrl and - at the same time. It will make the screen smaller.
Hit the abc button and it will promt you to download a spell check. Download it. hit the ABC button to enable it the click on your srenn again and hit
Ctrl and + to return your sreen to the viewing size you prefer!

Yes, but there might be some court room drama at 8:30 ish. Apparently they still have some issues to hash out, including some motions the DT brought before the court today. [ like that the DP is unconstitutional--talk about reaching.]

Mark DeJame tweeted there is a universal mistake concerning ICA charges...
Count2 aggravated child abuse did not allege felony murder...
Only Count 1 is DP
All the other charges are1st degree felony max of 30 yrs
They're are no felony murder charges...

I think we'll have to wait on the jury instructions to know the final say. Bill Shaeffer says felony murder is included. He even talks about it on the WFTV weekly roundup http://www.wftv.com/video/28430234/index.html

Also, I have a vague recollections of a discussion that took place at the end of the one of the trial days where the judge and attorneys were talking about lesser and other included charges saying they all needed to go over them. HHJP tossed out quite a bit that was not in the 7 indicted charges and felony murder was one of what he said.

I checked and you are right! I had my screen enlarged. I just reset it and now I see three things: the entire ABC thingy, up/down arrows, and the adjust editor mode symbols. Thank you. Mystery solved. :crazy:
