I love seeing the people outside court supporting Caylee. I hope all little murdered tots get the same support.

I had planned on bringing up this point about a week ago but then got carried away with daily court activity.

ACandyRose (?) has an excellent timeline that has a separate thread in this forum and I was looking over it while discussion of the computer searches were going on....specifically looking around March 17th...

Found a link to texts between Ricardo and KC and read one where she mentions something to him about her life improving (paraphrased)....or starting new life.....

Was suspicious to me that she wrote this comment shortly after doing the computer searches for chloroform, neck breaking, etc....

Will have to go back and find it now...

Gross. So in a way ICA was going to "win" Caylee "over with chloroform".:sick:

Just a quick note to say how much I have enjoyed hanging out with you guys during this trial. I normally spend most of my WS time on more local cases but this Anthony case has tugged at my heart since the 31st day, 2008.
I feel as though I've made new friends on here--you guys are the best!

Have you learned nothing? Just give her a little bamboo to nibble on and she will quickly go to sleep. :)

Let me google that for ya.

Wow! Never heard of it but I see it on Amazon! Does it work?

Workd fabulous! Thunder, fireworks, general nerves. Best price is on Amazon (avg $10-12 per refill, $15-20 for starter kit of 1 refillnplus plugin) but if you need it for tomorrows fireworks you can get at Walmart (sometimes) Petsmart and Petco all the time but itll run $30-40 for starter kit. Good news is it will lasts about a month. Treats ALL your dogs at the same time.

Love it and use it 24/7. Reccomend it constantly at the clinic for nervous dogs. Have never had anyone say it didnt help, and some dogs we were actually able to take off sedstives. Really bad cases we use DAP with oral tranqs but not often.

Feliway for cats is also wonderful. With my indoor only crowd it really keeps the peace. I wouldnt be without either Feliway or DAP. Have used them for well over 10 years now. Starts working in about an hour, the smaller the room the stronger it is, of course. Severe cases I would put in bathroom with plugin and blanket and a radio playing at a moderate--not loud--level.

Ballard v State looks like it involves the killing of a child, duct tape in the trunk. He was sentenced to death. The appeal seams to focus on whether it was cold, calculated and premeditated - which was an aggravator. It was upheld.

Then it discusses "proportionality" which HHJBP mentioned. It appears that the cold, calculated and premeditated was the only aggravator and there were three mitigators. Therefore, the death penalty was disproportionate when compared to other death penalty decisions.

"Because we find that there is sufficient evidence to uphold Ballard’s conviction for first-degree murder, we affirm the conviction. However, because we find the sentence to be disproportionate, we reverse the sentence of death and remand to the trial court for entry of an order sentencing Ballard to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole."

So, the death penalty punishment was overturned and he is now service LWOP.

Silly me! There actually is some bamboo that grows here. I know because it bent in a snow storm and blocked a road! I'm going to google shovel and see if I could dig it up!

Don't you feel like we have seen so much about Caylee that she has almost become a family member, makes you miss her. Bless her heart.

Ashton said: "Apparently it was too much work for her, so she decided to put her in the swamp!" in his opening statement.....many of you have noted that KC was lazy!

Nancy Grace live

There must have been fireworks going off during that part. CM needs to give my redneck neighbors a history lesson. They seem to think July 3 is Independence Day.

You can come borrow my shovel, but you need to return it in 45 minutes.

Nancy Grace caller asking about Caylee's dark circles. If you look at stills of Casey at that birthday party when she was a girl, you can see she had mondo circles, most likely inherited from George.

Just thinking about something and wondering what y'all think. Has anyone noticed that KC's smile is identical in all the photos we see of her? I mean the same exact smile. No variation. Seems odd to me. Can't put my finger on it....

My golden gets hot spots and itchy skin, never thought of Benedryl, how much would you give an 80 lb dog?TIA

Wow MomCat, you're a wealth of information on keeping the pets calm. My cat, Rose hates both fireworks and thunder. What I do it just give her the car keys and tell her to get out of town. She goes and checks into a nice hotel and that seems to make a peacful night for her. Yeah, she is spoiled. LOL
