I took my two sons out golfing once the instructions were read today. They're turning 13 and interested in this case. They, of course, can't believe a mother could do this and wanted to think she was innocent. It is so hard to believe but once they saw her, the way she sat there, the look on her face, they said she didn't seem like any mother they could imagine. I agreed-no way can most people imagine what ICA really was. Listening to those phones calls today made it clear that whatever "normal" behavior she exhibited was, IMO, just mimicry. She did a mimic, briefly, for Kristine or whoever that girl wa son the phone. The "I know, I know you want to help" I love you" but by then she couldn't keep it up and didn't even pretend with her family. That was basically the real her on that call and I think it's pretty devastating testimony right from the horses mouth.

OK, now I have to take the boys to the local semi-pro baseball game and fireworks. I have my alerts on just in case. Praying for the jury to see the truth and administrer justice.

Thanks for the info. I had it in my mind that she was going on the 7th. I remember her talking about it, but never thought someone was going on a cruise.

The media has also been stuck on this July 7th date and I don't understand why they can't get SOME things right, they have all of the info...JMO

#CaseyAnthony Verdict watch: #baez went down elevator holding July 4th cupcake. #Ashton in hall telling joke he learned in junior high.

Do you think the jury knows they're shutting down at 6p? I think they might think they have as long as they want (which I thought they did too).

Are the Anthony's home?

I think they said on HLN (!) that Judge P. told them to go until 6pm and then let him know if they were close to a verdict. The jurors won't keep the whole courthouse active and occupied all evening, I don't believe, if they are not even close...JMO...Both sides are there waiting.

Totally OT but... some of you may remember my kitteh who has singed his tail in a candle and had coffee spilled on him in the course of these proceedings... well, just now he went after a bug outside the screen of our 3rd story office window, knocked the screen out, and barely rescued himself from a 25 foot fall via (from my view) a great scrabbling of his hind legs only. :shocked2:

Where are those darn tequila shots?

Be careful that you don't get hauled in for negligence. :-)

Question: was the jury able to hear what CA was saying during LDB's rebuttal?

LOL Bruce at WFTV blog says he will pass along our thanks for the 33 min vid of ICA during closing to "Kelly" who put it together for us.

One thought haunts me today. Adoption was the right answer in this case. ICA should have given Caylee up for adoption when she was born and CA should have stepped back and supported that decision. MOO, of course.

A pillow would have had her struggling longer, I think.
For who ICA? Cause IF she were to have drowned Id think that's worse..
but I say that from personal experience. Never been smotheresd with a pillow...

CFnews13 tweeted that they think Judge P. drove out 12 minutes ago, went somplace anyway...

I wonder if the jurors have any idea just how high profile this case is and how many 100's of thousands of people are waiting on their verdict. I wonder if they have any idea that their lives are probably changed forever. There will be media interviews, movies, books, you name it and the jurors will profit greatly for the service they have given, regardless of the verdict.

Casey Jordan TH at HLN says by tomorrow pm...casue they dressed up for the media today.

WFTV wondering that even if the jury wants to deliberate later tonight if HHJP will advise them to wrap it up at 6pm as the courthouse is right in the middle of the Lake Eola fireworks area. Commentaters are thinking traffic could be a nightmare (especially if they would reach a verdict and people are trying to get to court).

Warning: K Belich from wftv reporting that if the jurors have a question, they will give 20 minutes lead time and all parties will be back in courtroom. I just don't want any of us who may be sitting on the edge of our seats thinking we are necessarily going back into court for a verdict. This concludes this PSA from me!
