Wow.....that is huge especially for the smokers on the jury who wanted the special breaks.

BBM

Ok, I have a confession. For the longest time, I thought 'special break' meant bathroom break, and I was getting REALLY CREEPED OUT the way HHJP would be all smiling and laughy asking in his cutesy little voice if it was time for a special break.

I was very relieved to realize it was a smoke break.:crazy:

I know! In my head I pictured the first ten minutes just everyone talking and blurting out what they had been holding in for so long. All 12 jurors talking at the same time, each a mile a minute and saying "Can you believe that? Oh, I know and can you believe THAT?"
I think so too, surely they need to sleep on those closing arguments. This has really been a "life experience" for them.

MY HEART IS POUNDING OUT OF MY CHEST

is this just a run through for the press or are they coming in

Is that when they brought in "Strawberry Shortcake"? All the talking heads were positive she was a defense side leaner....oooops....
Yes. She was totally into that sweet unborn baby, which she called "little man."

I am now 28, and have never been taken by my mother to the ObGyn, either. She took me to the pediatrician till I was 18, to the peds surgeon when I had chronic appendicitis (age 14), to the shrink (many years), and even to the hospital when I had an eating disorder...but never to the ObGyn. When I went off to college at 18, I started taking care of that for myself, and I've turned out ok so far. :) I also didn't find it traumatic, though. /shrug

My mom never took me either. I went on my own wen I wanted birth control. My mother was loving and involved. I also didn't find it traumatic but I always felt it was my own personal business.

WFTV is replaying LDB's closing masterpiece. The part about whether Casey was an amazing mother and how every baby loves the mother has me bawling everytime I listen to it. Caylee was no ordinary little girl. She was really something special. How SWEETLY she asked her great grandpa whether he was tired. Of course Caylee ran to her mother. She didn't know.........

Absolutely! I had a friend who was fostering 5 siblings, aged about 8 to 5 months. They had all been given illegal drugs, starved, beaten, neglected and given little attention. They all clung to their mother as they were taken away from her, screaming and sobbing and clutching her. Children love their parents, even their abusive parents and that is what is so very tragic and dangerous about the whole thing. The little baby was always laying in a crib and had never been helped to sit up or move about. She was very delayed due to the confinement. So, yeah, Caylee loved her mother, but her true mother was Cindy. JMO

Lol. My immediate thought was "Why would she be taking Dorothy SIms to the doctor?"

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

That's a WHOOOLE other post in itself!

No, my son got bit by somethign over the weekend and it's not looking better. Of course, it turned out to be a wasted trip and time away from WS as all the Dr said was "OOO, that's an ugly bite. Don't really know what it is." No answers,no definite on whether it is an allergic reaction or if it is infected. Just YUP, that's ugly and keep an eye on it:banghead:

Like Logical Girl you nailed it and this sound bite voting on guilt/not guilt or candidates is part of the instant gratificaiton society.

Don't get me going on "instant gratification" LOL.

Whining every day that the trial was "boring" or "bogged down with science" or whatever. :banghead:

You know, those people that think trials are like the ones they see on Law & Order, or CSI or what have you.

She is just telling what could/might happen...
No late deliberations at night, she says, 6-7pm max...

LMAO! well I didnt really mean I would want him as an attorney, but people have been demonizing him like he murdered someone too! He's just an attorney trying to do his job. I think he might even be a good guy. I actually got some thank you's!!!!!!!!! whew....

JA, LDB, and FG also did their jobs. They did not lie, did not try to destroy the lives of innocent people. I know they are the good guys.

I think it is just media instructions. The jury won't announce the verdict in a media room. And if it is guilty of 1st degree, they won't be in a media room at all until after sentencing. So let's HOPE this isn't a sign that the jury will be in the media room today.

I agree that defense lawyers are a special breed. Somebody's got to do it. Kind of like nursing assistant, morticians, etc. Not the most glamorous of jobs, but somebody's got to do it. I couldn't and I admit that. I've heard many defense lawyers say that it doesn't matter if their client is guilty or innocent, they are there to uphold the justice system and the client's rights. I'm glad somebody is doing that. I just could not. I also couldn't be a nurse or a mortician. It has nothing to do with morals, I just couldn't separate my emotions from my job.:fence:

And there you have it! Totally obsessed I could kiss you!!
