Yep. I can see that so clearly. If I were on that jury I would have done the same. The state gambled big & lost.
In the beginning...Casey told big big lies to law enforcement.
Law enforcement hates it if you even tell little lies to law enforcement.
I think Casey's big big lies led to the state over-charging her.
Then there's the trial by media fiasco, which added to the soup.
It's no wonder it turned into a high hysterical profile case.
I'm remembering the tone & inflection Judge Perry used,
when he clearly enunciated the word:
"Bookers."
