Tim Miller is on IS right now! He is looking at options for suing! JB said Caylee was NEVER missing, and he allowed all of the time, money and resources to be USED!

I literally applauded when I heard this. I hope he is able to go after them and wins. They lied and used his organization and should have to pay for it.

Could he have overuled the jury's verdict?? Could he still do that at sentencing for the 4 charges of lying to police officers??

If the jury would of found her quilty of anything.. they could of included improper disposal of a corpse.. could they of considered that also.. AND if they did would that be read yesterday.. or would that be read at sentencing..

I am grasping at straws and in my mind trying to come up with some HOPE that she will spend time in prison... ohhh please let there be one last suprise somehow for some type of justice... please

In a backdoor way, I do believe he could have overruled the verdict. He still had Ann Finnell's Motion for Mistrial that he had not yet ruled on. He even said earlier in the trial that he can withhold ruling on motions for mistrial until right before the verdict is read. Just the day before, when the jury first began deliberations, remember he still had that motion pending and Cheney Mason said they did not want a ruling on that one yet.

I'm really starting to wonder what his ruling would have been on that motion if the verdict had been guilty.

When he started reading the verdict, I was sitting here wondering when he was going to rule on that last motion for mistrial. He did not and then let the verdict be read. I knew right then and there is was Not Guilty. He would have had to rule on the motion for mistrial before letting the verdict be read if the verdict was Guilty.

OT: Hope it is okay to ask this here! Whatever happened to the other young mom, who also lived at home with her parents and brother and whose baby died and she claimed it choked on a plastic bag? I don't remember much about the case, only that I haven't heard about it in a long, long time. She dumped the baby (I think?) or was at least found in a bad part of town. She also had a support system with her parents and brother watching her baby while she worked. Seemed the case was similar in many ways to Casey's. Anyone know?? Sorry for the OT but it's driving me crazy trying to remember!

I feel like I'm just getting my wind back after being punched in the gut!! I certainly didn't expect 1st degree-but I was floored that the jury didn't go for agg child abuse!!
Coming back today and seeing so many feeling the same way is healing for me-I know I'm not alone feeling that Caylee was again failed in death as she was in life!! However, I know Caylee is beyond any pain or knowledge of what is happening on this earth-all she knows now is bliss!! However, I just "feel in my gut" that the universe has it's own plans for Miss Casey Anthony (and perhaps a few others) and I will leave it to these powers (insert your personal preference of supreme being) that rule to see justice done in their time and fashion.
Karma is a much more "spiteful b@tch" than KC could ever be and something even her lawyers have no power over!! The future will be no less than interesting!!:fence:

Question - under the law, what is the max time Casey can get tomorrow for the 4 counts she was convicted guilty of lying to LE? And something I don't understand - some of the time that she has spent in jail for the last 3 years was for her felony conviction of check fraud, SO how can she get time served for the 4 counts of lying to LE when she's been in jail for other crimes??? I can see if they use the time she spent in jail before that conviction, but how can they use that time from after that day she was found guilty?

I understand that the alternate who has spoken is a government teacher? If he were slated to teach my child in class, I would demand that my child be transferred to another class. He's not smart enough to teach, IMO.
