Could you please help me understand why race is coming into this? I'm not sure I follow.

IT ISN'T RACE it is a nationality. Although it isn't even that since they are American. It is the same as two doodes from Ohio having a common bond because they are Buckeyes. FYI Ohioian isn't a race either....:great:

Sad, but not surprising, that some are stooping so low as to suggest that the Anthony trial jurors are lacking in intelligence just because you don't agree with the verdict. I have no doubt that had the same jurors delivered the verdict you wanted, you'd think they were the smartest bunch on the planet.

No I'd just think they'd have common sense like the rest of us and came to the obvious conclusion.

Wait a minute! Casey and Cindy were saying back in Sept 2008 that the thought JG was responsible for Caylee's death? And they were saying it was a drowning? Weren't Cindy and George still actively looking for Caylee and Zanny at that point? How does this make any sense?
ICA told attys and Cindy backed her up that JG was obsessed with Caylee and he drowned her. WTH???

I seriously can not be mad at Jose. I just can't. He did what he had to do and... well, I'm just not mad at him. I am mad at the jurors that listened to his b/s... and believed it. Like a massive cover-up and Casey was framed for murder. That either George or Roy put the duct tape on Caylee. That George or Roy put Caylee in the shorts and even in the trunk. That George threw Caylee out into that swamp.... or Roy?? That Caylee died in the morning, no afternoon, no it was the morning. My God!!

Yet, they could not believe REAL evidence presented in this case? :banghead:

Ok, here's what I think it might mean and maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong. It sounds as if you believe Geraldo "made" Baez famous because they share the same ethnicity. I have a couple problems with that, if that's the case but I'll just start with a minor point: Jose Baez achieved international attention because an inmate recommended him to Casey Anthony. Anyone who represented the woman who didn't report her child missing for 31 days would've gotten the same attention.

Does Geralda even have that kind of pull? Most of us have been blissfully unaware of him for years. IMO.

I’m just speculating here……..
I don’t see it as having a bloodline in common in an effort to make him famous. But it might not have hurt as a way to weasel in and sensationalize a tragic murder using that connection.

Why did Dr. Drew put on this guy who owns a restuarant who banned the jurors? Why give these people more publicity? Is anyone immune from putting their face on TV?

I missed any talk of this, but saw on the ticker on NG that the original vote of the jury was 10-2 for conviction of 1st degree murder.

Where did this info come from? Was it from juror #3? I barely listened to her interview.

I missed a lot of testimony in this trial because of my work schedule. It is probably in the best interest of my mental health. My work is a great release for the negativity. I work at Disney and get to make families, especially children smile. After the verdict, I went to work and got to create smiles for lots of people. It works really well in helping me to remember that the world is not all like the players in this trial. Lately, I tell myself that every child that I make smile is a smile for Kaylee.

Yes, #3 says it was 10-2 for acquittal of 1st degree. Juror #2 says the original vote for aggravated manslaughter was 6-6.

It might have been juror 3 but could have been juror 2 as well. The guy who was crying about how he wishes there had been evidence to convict her on. He was one of the two.

How can JVM say that Baez did a "brilliant" job? How can anyone when the whole defense was based on disgusting LIES about George! Or are they? According to CA's cousin in TX everything the DT said about him is "TRUE!"..She & many others in the family were given the proof just last night..How is anyone's guess, lol, but it's all coming out in a book very soon.

If there were "proof" then why wasn't it brought out in trial? What is the proof? KC's word? :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I think it's great that that business (restaurant) owner is taking a stand - good for him! Too bad more folks didn't do that in Putnam County to a certain group of individuals... JMO~

Oh wow. The JG interview has opened my eyes to Cindy and Lee. Unless ICA just made up the groping story for sympathy from JG.
But he did personally witness Cindy being a monster to ICA. That 1st jailhouse phone call where Cindy says "I don't know your involvement in this, sweetheart" now sounds so creepy, almost like she's taunting ICA.

I don't like her either and I don't know what I'll do if she's around for the JA interview. :/ She is worse punishment than sitting through 10 mins of O'Reilly.
