Getting reports from Florida that lightning has struck the memorial site where Caylee Anthony's remains were found, splitting a tree down the middle. It was the tallest tree just in front of the memorial site marker.

Sorry, I just wanted to see that in black and white again!

In Session has Mark L. on right now, did they have one with CA after the hearing? I thought I saw something about that, but I was looking on the web and couldn't find anything.

As far as i'm concerned she is sentenced to life. She has to live with her knowledge of what she did. She will be tried in the public for the rest of her life. I'm done with her. I will use my anger for good. I signed the Caylees law petition so that's a start. There are more missing/endangered kids out there. There will be more trials. This one set the stage for the outcomes of the future ones i'm sure. Maybe this was Caylee's purpose in life. I will never forget Caylee Marie Anthony...........even if her family did.

Did anyone get any pics or screen shots of LDB this morning? I wasn't able to watch this morning until it was over. I wanted to get one last look at her. Thanks.

I was at work and only saw HHJP reading the verdict. He made a point to say CaYlee Marie Anthony quite a few times.
I just know personally myself he is not happy with the verdict.
Oh and I saw Casey.

Can we make a separate thread about the lightning? I think that's important an shouldn't get lost.

Disgusting.

Someone said to me today that "I was over the top and too emotional" about this. And referenced the fact that I don't even "know" these people.

You know if an innocent baby being killed (by any way you choose to believe murder or negligence) and thrown away like garbage without anyone having any consequences for it doesn't make you emotional I think that says more about you than me!

* ETA: Clarifying that is a general you in regards to others who believe the same way as the person who made the above comment to me.

July 19th @ 10:00 AM is when her depo with Morgan & Morgan is scheduled.

Why did JB say he was considering appealing the sentence that the Judge gave? She gets out in a week anyway. He said they have 30 days to file an appeal. Did I miss something? They were talking about appealing her sentence for the charges of lying to law enforcement?

The Zenaida Gonzales lawsuit. It is going forward now that Casey has been inexplicably acquitted.

#CayleesKiller Court minutes from sentencing hearing: http://t.co/toXAk1D 412 days served for check fraud not factored in!

ITA, something's off here. If the 412 days were not factored in, then next weeks release date is wrong.

I didn't listen to the hearing though, so I'm going to go back and listen to his ruling.

It appears that she was given time served for the time she served for the check case as well. I thought time served would only go back to Jan 2010, when she pled out for those charges, but I guess they gave it to her twice. I think the jail wanted her gone...think of all of the extra hassle and work having her there.

If they were to win the appeal, the fine would be reduced from $4000 to $1000. There's also the legal theory of whether it was one incident of lying or four that would add to the case law on the issue.
