So what happened to Lippman's statement that the Anthonys were SO AFRAID of the public since ALL the death threats, they wouldn't be in court today???

Threats suddenly go away after ABC agreed to put them and Casey up at the Ritz for the next thirty days or so?????

OMG Juror #3 just said on WFTV said they didn't have much freedom for 6 weeks, beautiful pools she could see outside her window but couldn't go swim in. I'm going to throw up.

And Caylee will never get to swim again. I have been swayed to believe that we now need professional jurors.

These jurors didn't want to spend time on the verdict. They just wanted to go home. Period.

So let me get this straight. Their whole defense was based on her pathological lying. Lies, lies, lies and more lies.

But now they want to say that this was just ONE lie?

In the midst of all this I have to say

I AM SO GOING TO MISS YOU ALL YOU HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL FRIENDS TO WALK WITH ON THIS JOURNEY!

With the A's being present, it shows me they would welcome her home in a heartbeat!!!!! One sick family, right there.

The whole family is a nest of vipers.
They will be together within days..

Will HHJP be able to make some sort of a statement to KC that he thinks a travesty of justice happened here?...In other words, will he be able to let loose on his real feelings in open court before her sentencing?

I can hear alot of helicopters.

ITA with some others, let her out today to face the anger and the circus.

Sorry. I thought they had said it was effective starting Friday.

yeppers they sure did. I assumed though when I saw the media appearances that that was a formality.

I think she could get 4 years in prison now...............

Nope. It's a misdemeanor so it would be jail, plus she has some time served credit.

LBD is my hero. It's gotta be hard to keep going in the face of what's happened. She is a truly strong woman.

And I miss JA. :(

I am a very patient person, but do not have the 'where-with-all' of LDB.
I cannot emphasize enough my admiration for her and JA.

I wonder if JP feels like he made a mistake by coddling the DT during the trial. Maybe if he would not have allowed their shenanigans the jury may have made the correct verdict.

Good morning Everyone!
Got here about 20 minutes ago and although I could get here, I couldn't get my mouse to scroll.
Now I'm going to catch up but I just had to respond to your post, Momtective! :)

I'm finding her hideous appearance to be quite entertaining, since she's sitting there thinking she looks all sexy...:floorlaugh:

If only we had judges decide the verdict..instead of 12 possibly uneducated criminals.

I wish it would have been a bench trial in front of JP

  • #599
This isn't a podunk jury they have to convince, it's the judge!

Thank God for that.

On another note, criminial in OC should be able to run amok for a few hours.

Much of the police force will be wasting time controlling the crowds, protecting CA & GA, etc.

I really hope Casey gets it when she walks out that she did not fool most people.
