Mark E, said there are plenty of other victims out there, maybe not as cute as Caylee...

I really don't want to see photos of her with a broken nose or bloodied face from some inmate. I don't want anyone to have any reason whatsoever to have even the slightest hint of an ounce of sympathy for Casey.

My point being... there are PLENTY of people in jail that fear for their lives!!! Do THEY get to be in PC just because?

he knows the SA proved their case, he knows she's guilty but he has to uphold the system so he will never criticize it. he's done what he can which unfortunately isn't much.

I blame the judge for the verdict.....the jurors cannot change their intelligence level but the judge had control of the court and especially the DT. He must feel terrible about the verdict.

It sounded to me, based on what the judge said, that this time will pick up where the check charge time left off...which means that yes, even with the comp time (whatever they call it in Florida), she could still be facing two years. I think the check charge time ended January 10, 2010? Or somewhere around then. So this time would begin running from that point. I knew this was what he would do. From the look on her face, it is not what she expected. Surely her attorneys warned her that the judge would probably throw the book...the whole set of law books...at her.

OK so then if the check charges took up the time from summer 2008 thru Jan 2010, she ONLY has a year and a half of 'time served' left to count toward these new convictions... right?

Yes plus whatever the good time requirements are...

Why is attorney Mark Iglar (sp?) putting down the protesters repeatedly? Does he not stand behind the Constitution?! He needs to go away.

He doesn't like them putting down the jury or the judge.

I think it comes out to about 2 years as well, unless there is more "good time accruals than about 15%. The judge has not kept track of her time, so he would not know...

She has already served almost 3 years.

That doesn't seem right. Are they sure?

HHJP said in court just now that according to his quick calculation it will most likely be late July or early August. WFTV is just repeating what he said in court.

He said he'd have an exact date for Cheney in about an hour.

When the set the hearing date for the reimbursement costs, he set it for Aug 25 and even said again he thought Casey would be out of jail by that date.

IMO

don't forget that jail days are calculated differently than regular days. if she were to enter jail at 11 pm on Monday and then released at 2 am on Tuesday she would get credit for 2 days, even though it is actually only 3 hours. That is why the calculation is going to take an hour. Any portion of a day you spend in jail is considered a day.

She can't wait to DRIVE again she said to Simms..Wonder what else she can't wait for? I'd love to see her list!

Neither does the IRS....

And maybe the IRS has now audited the returns of the Anthonys and Casey.....and besides the $70,000, we will see KC returned to prison for tax evasion ala Richard Hatch....

I imagine THAT would be a lengthy prison sentence since she would be sentenced as a prior CONVICTED FELON.....

An investigation into their (Never found a kid) KidFinders network would be appropriate too..

While I agree with Mark E. on HLN's about reaching out to other victiims/giving attention to other ongoing trials, ect., I believe that it is our constitutional right to peacefully protest and that is how we speak out and show our disapproval and dissatisfaction with the system - yes change needs to come but protesting is just as important a part of that in order to bring that change about.

One of the reporters said this morning she's been in 997 days and BS said she gets 10 days off for every 30 days.

I blame the judge for the verdict.....the jurors cannot change their intelligence level but the judge had control of the court and especially the DT. He must feel terrible about the verdict.

I disagree. Judge Perry had a tight rein on the entire process.
