2011.07.09 - Per Mason, Casey is not going home

It does not make me uncomfortable at all.

I think he is supporting Caylee's law because his grand baby was not reported missing for 31 days and he knows what kinda hell that brings upon a family.

I agree. I can imagine what would be said if George didn't support Caylee's law or if he did allow Casey to return home. No matter what the guy does, he's wrong.

And I really, really want to believe that. I do. I just can't bring myself to trust any A. Sorry, jmo and only that.

Can't imagine the dynamic between the A's right now. GA says she's not welcome home and encourages Caylee's law. CA mouths "I love you" to her, smiles at her acquittal, and requests to see her in jail. But they're together. I guess their mutual pain and loss has transcended their individual feelings about KC.

I wonder if he got Cindys pemission to say that.

Statement just came out from George Anthony (HLN News):

Casey is not welcome to come home to Hopespring Drive.

Fear....they still have the dogs...plus they are driving a brand new Jeep and nothing takes away that new car smell faster than a dead body. But that is just my opinion....no offense to Febreeze.

I thought the "Bella Vita" was a tribute to her dead child. I'm glad to see Cheney Mason becoming the new face of Casey's "stories." It is my sincerest hope that he is watched by millions in Florida...and that the spectacle of him as a Enabler/Mouthpiece for Casey follows him into every courtroom.

I pray every jury he encounters remembers this case.

Have you noticed how quiet and dignified he appears to be? This is all about his own rehabilitation in the eyes of the public and more importantly the Bar. I'm sure he's had a complaint filed for that disgusting public display to the media during the post verdict celebrations.

Memo to Mason: We're not buying the "new you"! We saw the real you at trial.

I don't know for sure how CA feels now - when she mouthed I Love You, I think she was convinced ICA was going to get guilty and death. I'd love to hear what kind of nonsense she would say now the jury actually bought those lies. Even if CA has decided to accept accidental, how does ICA explain away the lying over all those months to her family while her mother particularly was in such pain, and how does she explain tossing their beloved grandchild in the trash heap, left to the scavengers? They adored that child!

I suspect CA would be in better shape all around if ICA had been found guilty - at least there would have been some kind of closure for both CA and GA.

Hmm... diversionary tactic? Yeah, these people have made me even more cynical than I already am.

And I think this law will apply to any child's parent or parents. Caylee's parent never did report her missing. The non-custodial grandmother did.

I don't know Suzihawk - if I were George and ICA came home, I'd be afraid I might make an attempt on her life. Seriously.

I saw the "I Love You" the same way you did. Almost like a good-bye. It will be very difficult for George and Cindy to find peace with Casey out and about. I imagine they dread the thought of her showing up at their door someday. I wish Casey had agreed to visit with Cindy after the verdict. I have a feeling Cindy planned to tell her she was not welcome to return home.

If only they could learn the art of keeping their mouths shut.

I know it would make me very happy never to hear or see any of the Anthonys ever again.

If only the media would stop following them around and trying to provoke them into talking. If only people would stop clicking on links to see what they have to say.

People were calling for George to say that Casey could not come home. Now that he has, people are attacking him for it. I don't agree with the "kick George while he's down" attitude. Poor guy has been through enough.

The only thing I trust about George is his love for Caylee. But that is enough to make me sure that he had nothing to do with her death or with disposing of her body. He nearly went ballistic when one of the lawyers at the deposition (I think for the civil case) referred to Caylee's body as her "remains." He said in court "If I knew anything had happened to my granddaughter, we would not be here right now." I believe that. I also believe he is a very angry man at this point and who could blame him. He's angry at losing Caylee, angry at being duped and led on by Casey about Caylee's disappearance, then set up to take the fall by her defense team, angry at how his wife's been hurt and maligned, and probably angry at Cindy for playing into all of Casey's crap.

I think if Casey went home there would be violence. I was secretly hoping that Cindy would talk Casey into coming home and George would end up killing her (Casey that is). That to me would be a fitting ending to this whole nightmare.

I think George is lucky in way. He is more able to make the emotional break from Casey than Cindy is. I think Cindy can't help desperately wanting Casey's love and desperately wanting to see some good in her. I think she perjured herself not so much to save Casey's life as to try to win Casey's love. I remember Cindy being interviewed one time while Casey was out on bail and her saying "We don't talk about the case." Caylee was still missing, her body had not been found yet, but in Cindy's mind staying on Casey's good side was more important than finding her beloved granddaughter. I think Casey's release will be horribly difficult for Cindy. I blame her but I pity her as well.

Cindy and Casey will likely speak, but probably doing so on jail video would not have been the best idea ever...

Casey Anthony's Father Says She's Not Welcome to Come Home

Casey Anthony's father has made it clear that she is not welcome to come home when she gets out of jail on Sunday following her acquittal for the death of her daughter Caylee, sources close to the case told ABC News.

In another shot at his daughter, George Anthony is also encouraging people to sign a petition for Caylee's Law, which would make it a crime for parents to not report that their children are missing.

Better late than never I suppose, but if he had told the complete truth 3 years ago none of us would be watching ICA slip out of jail unpunished.

Now they are saying that the story about her being unwelcome at home is not true, according to Anthony attorney...and the link is gone I think...
