What difference would a few hours have made anyways? The juror's have spoken..The Foreman even admitted to not paying attention much after a few weeks..none of the evidence mattered to him it was the shocking information that "none of them knew about" with the defense's opening that made their minds wonder.

The few hours would not have made any difference.

BBM .... I think the comment you saw upthread was about the foreman's knowledge of the case when it first hit the news in summer 2008. He paid attention the first couple weeks, but not much thereafter.

Juror #12 is the one supposedly afraid for her life. Quit her job at a supermarket but there has been no proof of threats against her by friends, neighbors, etc. We don't even know her name. I bet she's looking for money as well.

I honestly have had a problem with this..I was shocked to hear Yuri say he didn't smell it that night & I was very surprised it wasn't investigated at that time considering what was told to them re: the smell..It's just a guess but knowing what I do about Lee it's hard to believe he didn't mention it too to one of the many LE there..He probably didn't know it was 'decomp' but he sure as heck knew something was ROTTEN with that car.

They were preoccupied w/casey. cindy kept them away from the sealed car. It was aired out all day. After she made the call, she sprayed and entire can of febreeze and sealed the car up tight. She never once mentined it to LE. It wasn't untill LE listened to the 911 much much later did they realize something stunk in Denmark.

If GA said something, LE more than likely neve thought it was a dead body smell from the car. They were focused on ICA and her little fairy tales. While the LE was led on the wild goose chase, cindy was washing all the things inside and hiding anything else she could.

I am having such a hard time living with this verdict. I can't for the life of me understand how such a beautiful child can be murdered, thrown out like trash and still in her death be victimized and stripped of every single bit of dignity that remained of her life.
I truly do not know how these jurors sleep at night knowing that Casey was guilty of something, but let her walk.

My heart has been so very heavy. I thought that Caylee's body being found was the worst of this, just because at that point we all knew that her life had been taken without doubt, but for it all to be in vain with no justice?

What is wrong with this world I live in?

I SO SO so agree. I have said to my husband many times that Cindy RUES the day she called 911 - that was the point of no return. She must regret that call more than anything else in her entire life. She cleaned that car and washed Casey's clothes. She also tried to 'wash' away the chloroform searches by perjuring herself. There is NO way Casey is smart enough to clean up a crime scene so well.

I saw that Casey is refusing her Mother's visits in jail, but how long will Casey last without Cindy to literally CLEAN UP after her? Casey won't get very far on her own. She simply doesn't have the tools to function as a normal adult. She'll be back in jail right quick.

So true.

What about all the cleaning and Febreezing that day? Was the trunk open when all the LE that did not notice the odor walked by? I really haven't read all that was written but in my mind, it is easy to dismiss that several people did not smell anything after CA admitted to using a whole can of Febreeze in the car that day.

I bet that vehicle was shut up as tight as a sardine can and Fabreeze was also used just prior to LE's arrival as well as earlier that afternoon (as CA stated). CA probably propelled LE right past it - fast.

Funny thing is I was so sure he 'turned them off' with that vs 'turned them on'..I guess I'm not as good at reading jurors as Jose is.

Maybe you could take a lesson from juror #11 since he's so good at reading people. :D

That some smelled the decomp while others did not? YES! The foreman said they found that strange & it did play a role in deliberations.

What's strange to me is the ones who did not smell it were not to perform a sniff test, correct? Garage door was open, whole can of Febreeze was used, Lee and Casey even discussed the smell the night of the 15th.

I truly hope that #7 eventually see's the report made by the Department of Children services where they mention that Casey seems to have no care in the world for her missing child.

Scary indeed.~

I truly hope someone above her makes sure she should be holding a Department of Children services job.She above all the other jurors should be able to recognize child abuse an neglect IMO. Many children slip threw the cracks in FL(All States)s every year and wind up like Caylee. That is a really scary thought!

I thought maybe he meant he didn't follow the case after the first couple of weeks, meaning when it happened in July 2008. I may be wrong, but gosh I hope not.

Defense Attorneys....

There have been no attempts by anyone to physically harm any of the jurors. I guess they continue to speculate regardless of the evidence to the contrary.

Yes, after all, ICA 'seemed' so sincere yet never spoke a word in front of the jury!

BTW, I think we have been pretty good at reading HIM! :loser:

:innocent:

The case was lost after the redesign of the courtroom. Jury looked at tiny kc every day. For most of the trial she was hugged and held by Mason or Simms. Whe JB did the opening, tiny kc slipped into Mason's arms, crying and sobbing about her rape by her father.

I don't approve of the DT getting away with that trick of moving the table to face the jury. HHJP sure overdid it giving JB almost everything. JB got to insinuate through several witnesses that kc was molested. The jury never heard the rest because JB got to proffer their statements. He even slipped in the FBI story about paternity. He got away with an awful lot...imo. That opening statement was downright disgusting on every level.

I am disgusted with the jury who enjoyed a four star hotel, got bored of it and wanted to go home. HHJP treated them too nicely....imo. Imo, they listened to the opening of JB and watched the tiny narcissitic witch and fell, hook, line and sinker. They enjoyed their stay and ate some very good food...and didn't want to be bothered with the nasty part. Shame on them all, each and every one of them.

She cried & sobbed EVERY time something was said about her father..It was so obvious to me it was staged..Somehow it was lost on the jury! :banghead:

JB def got away with way more then he should have but so did ICA..Her constant 'testifying' while sitting in her child's chair was beyond belief..I'll never get how she could shake her head "no" & mouth words thru the entire trial without JP seeing it..I have to assume he did & did nothing..I wish he'd explain why not!

It used to be these jobs were filled by ex-welfare mothers. They may identify more with ICA and JB than Jeff Ashton.

I believe HLN reported that she was planning on retiring anyway, so she decided not to go back after jury duty so she would not have to hear it at work. She was a part-time cook at the market. My guess is that those who did not watch news before this experience, watch it more now.

Was he who Casey seemed to be flirting with?

She was flirting with someone(s)/ There were at least two days where she seemed as if she were at a bar waiting for a guy to come by and buy her a drink. She was working it. Lipstick, eye make=up, instead of blinking, she would lower her lashes slowly. She was def flirting.

Aww... those poor, deprived jurors. They had to suffer so staying in a dump like that. Never having special outings or special dinners arranged for them. Not having anyone willing to go to a great deal of trouble so they could watch their home team play soccer. Never having special treats or deserts. No movies specially selected for them. Shoot, they even had to ask for pretizels. The horror of it all!!

There are many forms of 'payment', Doc. I'm just sayin'...

Juror #11 is a very manipulative, <modsnip>. He manipulated Greta by telling her what questions she needed to ask him next. I'd like to say I'm surprised that a seasoned interviewer (and lawyer, no less) would allow that, but alas... I'm so not!

But hey... he's really good at reading people and ICA was sincere in his opinion. So there ya go. She's a proven liar. Her own attorney wailed on and on about what a liar she is. But he thinks she's sincere. Whatever, dude.
He felt sorry for CA which equates to she wasn't lying about the chloroform searches. WTF?

If he's so proud and confident in his decison, why is he afraid to show his face? <modsnip>!!

Every day I think I've reached my disgust max. Every day I'm wrong.

The thx buttton wasn't good enough for your most excellent post!!!! You said it sista, way better than I ever could! :seeya:

The men were clearly thinking with their ........ located south of their navel.

I love how each of them talk about her body language...LOL

That whole story left me with only one conclusion and that had nothing to do with fear.
