Well ZG's case was allowed to go forward. Even if she doesn't win, Morgan will get to depose FCA eventually. She can plead the 5th until the appeals process for the lying charges is over. I think they have 30 days to file but read somewhere - deep inside the lawyers' thread - that they can just say they are going to appeal.
Morgan is concerned she'll skip town. I think maybe he can prove that by playing tapes of FCA's lawyers saying she's going to be disguised and leave Orlando.

What I don't care for is that they are portraying her as some innocent citizen who has been exhausted from losing a child, being incarcerated, in solitary and facing the death penalty and the toll it has taken on her being falsely accused. What this poor child has gone through at the hands of the state of Florida.

(And remember why she was in solitary...not for punishment...but because she was "high profile", translated, "a despised baby killer.")

I get it, and I somewhat agree, but this is civil court, and Orange County - much more likely to award some kind of damages, give ZFG her piece of the pie (which I think jurors relate to as we've all seen lately) and get the hell out. Plus Morgan has benefited from seeing how the ball lies on this course. He's purdy good. We will see.

I tend to agree. Despite the physical dissimilarities between the "real" ZG and the fictional one created by Casey, this woman has suffered as a result of having her "name" connected with this case. And not too many people are sympathetic toward Casey.
