OMG!!! Are you kidding me? I turn on HLN, which I don't watch for a reason, and witness a priest and a rabbi arguing forgiveness with Behar!!! Disgustingly takes talking heads to a low level.
Forgiveness is never for the other person, and does not condone reprehensible actions. It is always intended for us to bring ourselves more peace. God (Love), or however you choose to author your spirituality has one theme in common...and that is that we are not intended to police the entire Universe.
If we want to experience peace, we have to try forgive that which is preventing us from being at peace....which usually does involve some form of judgement.
I was hoping to see the great tribute y'all had mentioned earlier, and instead I see fighting religion. Unflippin' believable.
