Local news - not always accurate. Pretty sure they mean tonight because it was just on the news.

Officials with the Jefferson County Jail in Missouri confirm Wayne Wright is no longer in their custody. Wright was picked up sometime overnight on Wednesday, but the jail did not confirm which law enforcement agency took him.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says Wright is not in a Lee County jail, as of Monday afternoon.

I think WINK News messed it all up again. (wouldn't be the first time) It appears from the updated link at the News-Press as of 7:10 pm that he was picked up last night but was not in the Lee County jail yet. Maybe we will find out more on the late news tonight.

The News Press link confirmed CWW is "no longer in a Missouri jail." Checked Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Broward and Miami Dade and CWW is not yet on the guest list. My bet is that he is in Lee County "processing."

I don't know why he would be in any other jail than Lee County. It's not like JR who is in a Federal jail. I agree with you that he has been in transit and is probably in the process part. We may not know until tomorrow.

Jails will often do "courtesy hold" when inmates are in transit, if they were driving him.

My best guess is that he came in on a small private plane. We will probably not see the booking until he is safely secured. But I do think he is either right here in Lee County or soon will be.
