Can you think of any strategically legal reason the 911 call would be held back? Have you ever seen a case in which it was?

Yes. One example would be if the 911 caller says something that LE is currently (1) concealing from a suspect or (2) waiting to see if the suspect reveals on his own (showing knowledge of crime details he shouldn't have). Or the 911 caller might have said something that is a lead still being followed up by LE.

Do the Florida sunshine laws cover related search warrants obtained and/or executed in Missouri or other states?

Those search warrants (and more importantly the returns on the warrants showing what was found) would end up in the files of the Florida LE working on the case, so they would be subject to the Sunshine Laws at that point.

Earlier I think I erroneously posted that the "arrest" warrant would be confidential. NBC-2 News stated that the "Governor's" warrant would be confidential. Sorry.

Earlier today NBC2 said the Governor's warrant would be considered confidential. Now they are saying the case information will be sealed.

My thoughts exactly. Hold those cards close to the chest so nothing is compromised. I get that, though am curious as ever. Interesting CWW doesn't need public counsel. Someone is paying major league bucks on this one!
