I feel that LE has probable cause to arrest Mark now. They can put the "finishing touches on the case" while Mark sits in jail awaiting trial.

The girls would be safe from possible harm while the investigation is wrapped up.

Family law expert Mich Chionopoulos explained it's not surprising if they are. (still at home)

"Just because the children are in their home. However, that does not mean that DCF has said, oh well, everything is fine,'" Chionopoulos said.

We asked DCF officials what tool, if any, do they use to access the well-being of children in cases like this one.

Because no two cases are alike, officials said they refer to what's called the child maltreatment index.

"If DCF does remove the children from the home, it does not indicate that they believe Mr. Sievers is guilty of a crime. It's just the environment. It's in the best interest of the children to be in a different environment," Chionopoulos said.

DCF wouldn't comment on the specifics of the Sievers case. But experts believe Mark Sievers is under strict guidelines while the children are in his care.

"It is probably the most difficult case that I've seen," Chionopoulos said.

Strict guidelines? Society has strict guidelines against murder. Mark ignored those guidelines.

The girls are not in a safe environment in my opinion.

I don't think we were Mark Siever supporters thru thick or thin. I myself never saw any evidence he was involved till now. Did I think he was? I have to say I wished he wasn't.
To me this is worse than the husband that murders his wife this guy PAID someone to kill the mother of his children.

I still do not understand why he has not been arrested?

I think this fact thru this entire case was what kept me on my fence. I always felt if they know he did this why have they not arrested him? It sure seems they have enough evidence against him so why have they not taken him into custody. This baffles me and
makes me think they don't really have enough to nail him.

And again I never wanted to think this guy had his wife murdered. And I wanted to see real evidence he paid for her death. The evidence has come out but the man is still free to roam the streets of Florida. Why?

Thanks for posting this.
You have mirrored my thoughts

AW certainly has me intrigued as far as how her mind works. She's a 43-year-old woman (44 on 12/31), and was a "newlywed" of a couple of months at the time of the murder. Yet, as a grown adult with children in her care, including her grandchild, she moans and groans and complains about her husband making a trip to Florida (one day down, one day there, one day back) without her. She complains in front of so MANY people!

Then, after CWW's return, she runs around telling those people that THEY were wrong and CWW never left MO. Nobody believes her, including KM, her own mother. The mother states that she even spent one of those nights with her daughter!

For the silly details, do read about it in the docs. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/2630726-investigative-report-teresa-sievers-case.html

Then, she goes to LE with the same bunch of lies. Nobody backs her up, not even her mother.

At the same time, CWW made a big mistake with her. He didn't 'splain to her prior to the trip that it was not to be spoken of to ANYONE. So, she acts like a love-sick 16-year-old and happens to vent in front of the CTW. The CTW was the one who had the courage to put it all together and call LE. I admire her, whoever she is. Kudos also to her mother, KM, who has her daughter's number and told the truth.

Unfortunately, I doubt that LE could use this information to pry testimony loose from CWW in return for not pressing charges on his wife. As many have pointed out, he's no hero, willing to fall on his sword for his adoring spouse.

I feel the same way. I felt sorry for her up until I learned she was covering for him. And after learning that I am not even surprised that she would choose her short time husband over her family.
The plus side of her neediness is that running her mouth opened her up to a heck of a lot of questioning on the stand at trial! I was affraid that her testimony wouldn't be that useful due to spousal privileges. But NO, she opened herself up for some interesting and revealing court time and possibly legal issues herself.

By the way, folks, I recently found out that the live Nancy Grace is now aired on HLN at 3:00 PM. Her news is much more timely then! I hope she continues her coverage today.

This is my first post. I wonder when CWW and AW returned to Missouri after the funeral? In the 33 page Investigative Report pg. 16 Recovery/Processing of Silver Hyundai Elantra: The silver Hyundai Elantra with Missouri tag: HL0E3G and VIN:5NPDH4AE9GH672647 that was rented by Curtis Wright to drive down to Florida for Teresa Sievers'
funeral which was LOCATED IN THE DRIVEWAY OF CURTIS' RESIDENCE ON THE MORNING OF JULY 12, 2015.

The Garmin GPS unit was recovered in the car. I wonder why CWW hadn't removed the GPS unit?

It's a very real possibility that CWW threatened to kill AW to ensure her cooperation. AW had known CWW for years, and may have been aware that he was under suspicion for killing Ronnie Bolin. CWW may have also told her about the roommate he claimed to have strangled. I expect she was terrified. BUT....as creepingskills mentions:

If what AW's mother says is true, AW's loyalties were messed up before the murder. She is also a mother who lost one of her children to murder some years ago and lost her daughter to serious illness last spring. We can't know what effect this has had on her. BUT...She is still supporting him now that he is in jail where he can't hurt her. Perhaps he has people who can and will hurt her. I'd like to hear her side of the story. I just have trouble understanding how she can sell out her integrity like this. She may save her life, but how can she live with herself? JMO

If I were LE, I'd be exhuming some bodies and/or taking a second look at those autopsies. It's amazing how death just circles around these people. Makes you go "hmmmmmmmmmm".

So, as horrifyingly tragic as this is, it vindicates what most of us felt would be the obvious ending, and there is a slightly satisfying feeling that justice will ultimately be served for this lovely woman.

I would love to hear from those vocal outliers--the supporters of Mark through thick and through thin--the ones who challenged the logic that he was involved, who challenged the people who saw how he operated, who could find innocuous reasons for every bizarre or suspicious action he took. Genuine question: Do you NOW believe he was involved? Or are you still waiting for more evidence?

I would call myself a "fence sitter" and have, but not a staunch supporter. My instints and first thoughts were that MS was guilty but lack of evidence and arrest made me question my instincts. Some, not all, of his actions that others found strange I simply didn't. Not sure how I would act if I was in his situation whether he is guilty or innocent. And there are as|=@#$ out there who are not murderers, maybe he could have been one of these? Then I took into consideration of how I would feel if I was innocent, lost the love of my life and had everyone turn against me. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I also felt like having a few devil's advocates would open a discussion regarding what ever topic was being discussed. At times the us against them mentality on the thread between the guilty, non-guilty and fence sitters was frustrating. Shouldn't we all be able to discuss our views in a mature way??? Thankfully most have risen above the "I told you so!" type of comments and I thank you for this. Because really.....there are no winners in this at all.
As far as how I feel about being proven wrong? I feel sad for the girls....that's how I feel. And I hope the 3 stooges rot in hell for what they have done. I'm convinced in my mind that MS is guilty now (no more fence for me, thank goodness because my legs were getting tired!) but he still needs to be proven guilty in a court of law. I hope they come up with more solid evidence.

Because he has not been charged with a crime yet they cant just remove his children as I understand it.

Solid alibi, faulty alarm on the very night TS returned home alone which probably rarely happened, plus million dollar 🤬🤬🤬 less than 24 hours after this talented and beautiful woman was murdered = hinky meter going through the roof. I dont even care about affairs. His or hers if she was having them. I still think there is a woman in MS life that is more than an affair. Someone that wanted to be a wanta be TS and all her glory.Instead of riding TS shirt tail, MS wanted to wear the shirt and someone was more than happy to replace him on the tail. jmo

I don't believe the girls are with him, I think the tutor was there for other reasons.
There's got to be a lot of planning going on right now to move the girls with LE,and DCFS trying to make it as easy as possible for the girls. I would say the tutor was there for some kind of educational assessment ,so they can continue their education without too much disruption, which will be difficult no matter what.
I think at this point the girls are in DCFs care or at least being supervised by them in a safe place.

I'm not too sure that the tutor would want to or be allowed to go to the house alone...unless of course there are "other reasons" to do so. Just "what if-ing" here but let's say if the tutor is "one of the other women", how convenient would that be to retain her for the children's tutoring should he go to prison so that she can keep "tabs" and some control on the outside?????? (Ohhh how our minds can wonder with this stuff!!!)
