2016.01.07 Discovery Docs Batch 3 - Crime Scene Images included

Also, the journal...I remember thinking Teresa Ann Grace Sievers was writing in her journal and as she became more sleepy her handwriting became more illegible. Look at the last three lines on the page on the right side of the journal.

ok I went back looking at the photos of the things in her wallet.

Why did she have a license to practice medicine from South Carolina.
Expired june 30 2015.

If I'm reading this right, even a permanent licence would need to be renewed every 2 years. Seems strange, I thought it might have been years old.

This is in response to NINs #485 post - do not know how to copy pictures.

Look at the picture showing the hospital tray. Now look back to the left, on top of the suitcase. See that beige/tan thing? Is that what was covering TS in the kitchen that we couldn't figure out what it was?

You can also see it clearly in another picture, not the first one of the bedroom. What do you think?

I do think TS slept on the left side as I see a bible on the night stand. Something that I would not expect to see on the other occupant of that houses' nightstand.

I have taken this case to my heart and I know there are many more but when I see that children are helpless victims to a "insane moron" I research. I am a teacher and have seen first hand what happens to children that are controlled and alienated from family members due to divorce or other reasons.......I really hope things turn around quickly because the longer this carries out with the girls in their current situation , it will take a long time in therapy to recover.

Yes, I am very familiar with the alienation and manipulations game where children are concerned also. It is never a good thing. Why don't kids deserve to be loved by every single person who wants to love them?

Studying the photos of the pried door and also the interview transcript of Dr. Petrites, I've come to the conclusion that the deadbolt was engaged when the door was pried. The fractures in the door frame surrounding the deadbolt receiver were caused by the outward force on the door being transferred to the door frame via the engaged deadbolt.

After enough damage was done to the door to satisfy CWW and JRR, they used a key or lock pick to enter. The evidence photos of the door would have been taken as found by investigators. The door was closed but unlocked according to Detective Nolen (see Dr. Petrites interview transcript). The crime scene photos corroborate his statement.

Someone asked earlier if the prying of the door could have successfully forced the door open. The answer is no. With the deadbolt engaged, forcing the door open would have entirely broken out the door frame around the deadbolt receiver. Because the wood was fractured but not broken out of the frame, it can be concluded that the deadbolt was retracted to allow entry after the pry damage was inflicted.

My original post inquiring about the prying of the door:

I know the pried door was part of the staging, but do we know that the attempt to pry open the door was actually successful in getting the door to open? It's hard to visualize exactly what would have happened when they finished the prying. How would that have gotten the locks themselves to open or retract enough to get the door open?

Our wonderful Scout's analysis:

Genius! :takeabow:You know the beauty of this forum is that there are some great unofficial detectives here and I sincerely hope that the real detectives are following along. It takes a lot of time and thought to analyze all the things involving this case and I'm sure that there is much to be gleaned from the brilliance of some of the posters here and their findings. Bravo to our great collective minds! :applause:

100% agree. These last 6 months have shaped many images in the girls memories. Whether they truly happened or not. Children have wild imaginations and when you pair that with a master manipulator, memories can be altered forever. I've seen it happen personally. An alienator can alter the memories of children these ages, with just a few verbal suggestions.

What really concerns me is that TS's family has been cut off from contact completely. They should at least get some visitation time with the girls. Maybe MS would be so kind to send the girls to visit them over their Spring Break without him? Ya right. He would never do that, which speaks volumes!!

Springbreak from what. They do not go to school, seem to have no social outside of home activities. Highly doubt they are even being home schooled at this point. So exactly what do the girls and MS do all day. If they do not learn to have some work skills, a solid work ethic, etc, will they only learn to live off others like MS. Are they being monitored by any educational staff as to their home schooling. Certain paperwork is required and mandatory, but I guess MS can fake that too. They are not small children, they should be preparing for the future. They do need to visit and interact with anyone other than MS but they have been on break. DFCS dropped the ball on this one too.

The girls are Mark Sievers ultimate weapon for protection. He uses them no differently than he has used anyone else in his useless, miserable, parasitic life. No matter what the story is in regards to Theresa's murder if he loved them they would still have a place in the life of their extended family- how much more guilty can he make himself look by his behavior with just the girls?

I think he used them in life- his appearance to others is of great import- they gave him a legitimacy that nothing else could next to a doctor who was a wife. He let his mask slip in that Facebook comment about being a good father and his snide remark back (not verbatim)- you think I'm a good father because of a picture of me playing with my kids?

What Mark was snidely alluding to was how stupid people can be to draw such a conclusion from a photograph. How easily and gullibly people can be manipulated by an image. He should know.

If he loses the girls there is not one reason left for anyone to behave respectfully to him. None. Not the family, neighbors, friends or community. They have become his sole protection and legitimacy. Without them his house of cards really crumbles.

Saying DCF has dropped the ball on this is the understatement of the year- they have failed these little girls unimaginably and quite possibly irreparably. I hope I'm wrong on the latter.

Talk about using. Isn't that what happened when MS stayed longer up north with the girls so he could have an iron clad alibi? It was okay to be around the family then, right? Guess so, cause at that point they were being USED!

What is on the floor in the master bedroom -- the left side?

That house is so depressing. The tropics should be light and airy. That house is so dark. The colors, the furniture, the whole thing. It freaks me out to look at it.

Yes, yours is the post I was thinking of, howonkee. Thanks for bringing it forward. Sorry I was too lazy to go look for it.

I needed to find what investigators learned that caused them to say the prying of the door was "obviously staged" in the reports. I'm finally satisfied after seeing the door frame fractures around the deadbolt receiver. And now we have an idea of why CWW and JRR bought a lock pick set at Walmart.

Who knew Walmart even sold lock picks?

I think they were sleeping in separate bedrooms - only one side of the bed is unmade and I can't see someone making only one side, but I could be wrong.

I think TS slept on the right side (of the bed) - the side with the table/desk.

It's a Dream Journal. I can't remember at this moment how I determined that because it was several days ago (argh, memory issue), but I'll try and do it again.

I noticed the same thing that items in the bedroom were moved while taking pictures. We don't know timing, I assume it's documented somewhere why things were moved.

We here have allergies up the wazoo and have tissue boxes in every room and by each side of our bed, but certain drugs also make runny noses... TS had an inhaler in her purse, asthma and allergies often go hand-in-hand. *yep, my experience*

There are several pictures of the Master Bedroom in the third doc dump. You may recall the tray/ medical over-bed table on the foot end/left side of the bed:
Look at the items of the tray and then look at this photograph, Bates # 29633:
I assume the items on the tray were looked trough, moved, photographed etc. multiple times. Now I am interested in basically 3 items found on this tray:

  • The journal/notebook on top of the pile
  • The book "Energy Healing Experiments" by Gary Schwartz (and another book I am not sure about) , TS was into energy healing (videos,LS etc.)
  • The tissue box
There are quite a few tissue boxes located throughout the house (kitchen, family room, bedroom(s), kids, MS office, garage (freezer), van, Mercedes (used tissue in drivers side door). Allergies? Or did they (all) have a cold at some time?
  • The small pouch
What is/was inside that pouch?
If you look back at the first picture, there is also a briefcase located on the left side of the bed. Either TS was sleeping on the left side of the bed -since the tray is over that side- and just left the briefcase there for some reason before departing However, the right side of the bed/nightstand looks more organized, or she indeed caught a cold and was sleeping by herself that last night (only then?).

If she indeed had a cold, is it possible that the killers may have caught something too? Yes, they most likely wore protective clothing and possibly masks. But we don't know that and hence there is a chance.
