With MS in jail I wonder how the Jarvis home is being handled at this point. Would think BS is seeing to the lawn, MS had a guy who mowed, & for the sake of the neighborhood it hopefully won't become overgrown before the city forces something. Maybe she closed all household accounts like cable, Internet, phone, PING GPS Monthly, etc. OMG what ordinary daily life appears via US mail VS all to be done when life stops dead in it's tracks! Sooner or later the home will be sold or foreclosed---what a mess. This would be overwhelming for his mom to handle. THEN TS family may need to get some family belongings out of there OR forget that altogether---GEEZ.

Anyone know what LE did about the safe(s) with cash & guns? Wow, Sunday morning I woke up thinking all this crazy stuff but MS was there one day then gone the next.

Idk. The estate will get the 4.4 million after he is convicted this year. Plus it takes years to foreclose on a home sometime. The bank may let the estate keep the home if it will be paid for via the insurance when time comes. Idk.

This is really why I want Teresa's family to get the girls. You take our sister and we take your house and kids and the money that you had insured on our sisters life.

Now of course most of the money will be set aside for when the girls become of age. But the Guardians are still entitled to money for the expenses needed to raise the girls.

But as far as the house is concerned. I wouldn't really want it unless the girls wanted to keep it for the sake of mom that bought it for them to be raised in. Idk.

I just want Mark to see Teresa's family and kids enjoying the money since that was his entire motive for killing Teresa in the first place. Jmo.

Totally agree with you, DexterMorgan... guess lots will fall into place once he's actually convicted---that will be The End, of sorts, then TS family can begin to really move forward. The Jarvis house is 'marked', as such a house would be.... visions of OJ's home being demolished. I feel for the neighbors, time will only tell what will become of what's like a landmark (no pun intended with all the 'mark' words).

I know from reading his arrest warrant that he had to surrender all firearms. He probably sold them to the guy in that purple truck. I assume he may have taken all the cash to his mom's house. I'm sure his poor mother is overwhelmed with tying up all the other things you mentioned, all while trying to come to terms with her OWN murdering son. That SOB has left so many innocent people in his wake, thrust into the media "spotlight," (with the sunshine law) thru no fault of their own.

I just wanted to add something else that has really bothered me about this beautiful Doctor and her family, that we have all come to know and deeply care about.
I know first hand how human nature automatically takes "over your mind and leaves your survivor's to blame themselves. The "if only" and the what-ifs completely consume you.

**Please know that what I'm about to say isn't meant to be hurtful or unkind. There is NO way anyone could have stopped this murder from happening. I am simply showing the way our minds react to the shock of losing a beloved family member, and the guilt we all seem to find and carry in our minds and broken hearts**

Marks mother
It's my fault. If only I would have set the damn alarm anyway, < her own words, (even though Mark told me not to) then this wouldn't have happened.

Teresa's mom,
If only I would have kept the kids for 2 weeks, this wouldn't have happened. "Why did I let her go home alone?"

Her sisters may even feel guilt that they didn't offer to help with the kids during those 2 weeks
^^^
This was ABSOLUTELY going to happen anyway at his very next opportunity

Teresa daughters
The last thing I did when I was with my mom was misbehave.

An older article, but I somehow missed this one!

There was a tense moment this summer when Dawn Tottenham visited her brother-in-law Mark Sievers in Bonita Springs.

"You know, the girls aren't convinced that you think I'm innocent," Sievers told Tottenham, referring to his daughters Josephine and Carmi, then 11 and 8.

"Mark, I don't," Tottenham said

If you can't afford to hire a good hitman nor a top notch lawyer. Then why put yourself in that position.

But in all honesty. Mark knows that Curtis has the detailed goods to seal his fate triple fold. So why waste money on a good lawyer.

This may actually be the best financial decision that he has made in decades. Jmo.

Go Mark Go.

Prison protection isn't free these days. Jmo.

I can't wait to see what sort of defense his public defender, if eligible for one, will put up. How in the world can he argue his way out of this?

What a loser.

BBM: Speaks volumes of his character (or lack thereof).

I would have love to see Marks and Curtis face when Mark asked Curtis the fatal question.

Can anyone in MO link you to being in Florida during the hit?

Lol.

Now the computer story could have worked. But Curtis would had to have killed JR at the house and said that JR flipped out and killed Teresa for whatever reason. So Curtis killed him.

So Let's just be thankful that all were stupid in this entire planning.

Who knows what the defense will have up it's sleeve. Maybe MS will have a fog and maybe take a shot that strong independent TS emasculated him and forced him outside the home for intimacy. Maybe we will see Alyc_ DeViolet_ __again with all her domestic violence knowledge :blushing:

I wonder if senior public defenders are automatically placed since this isn't a death row case.

But most likely. A Jose Baez type of lawyer may take the case for free.

So Mark may not be stuck with a lead public defender in the long run. Jmo.

By MS filing for Indigent Status, does that mean he is going to use a lawyer provided by the state?

Guess he decided that the 4.4 million wasn't going to be of any use to him! That is what happens to greedy sleazy people.

Maybe he will decide to plead guilty with a lower sentence, naturally, to keep from going to trial. That would be so nice to keep all the bedroom secrets, anything off color or negative about dear Theresa out of the public's eye.

Another thought is that CWW might have numerous dirty stories that Mark would never tell, however, Mark is not certain that CWW won't spill the beans on many of their brotherhood escapades. Actually, CWW comes out shining on this as Mark is in the dark on what his brother from another mother will tell.

PLEASE don't say that name three times! :puke:

:silly: :oddsmiley:

That sounds like a defense he would use for sure.

Good point. I had thought of it like that. Someone could take it just for the notoriety.

I bet no one really wants to defend him...wnder why his origisnl lawyer quit?! Money I bet or maybe ethics.

I hate to say this (my son is a brand new lawyer) but I'm going with money.
From what I've seen, most criminal defense lawyers don't really care or even want to know their client's guilt or innocence. They either 1- want to get paid - unless, of course, it is in exchange for the publicity. OR 2-There are some defense attorney's who truly believe everyone accused, regardless of their true guilt or innocence, deserves competent counsel. Yet, don't you think most who fall into this category already are employed employed as Public Defenders?
I recall the LH/MS thing seemed like a mismatch. LH seems more like a CPA than a high powered defense attorney. I will say this: If I am ever falsely implicated or otherwise accused of any murder, most especially of my husband and couldn't afford a really good defense attorney, I would beg relatives and friends for help, might even set up a 🤬🤬🤬 account (how ironic) to pay for one. I realize many people don't have those resources or support system but MS certainly otherwise lived like he did.

Long story short- I would put money on LH quit due to MS's inability to pay.
Unless MS pleads guilty to all charges and doesn't need a good trial attorney which unfortunately I do not think is going to happen.

I think MS will plead No Contest. I don't think he'll EVER admit to having Teresa killed. But then TS's family can file a civil lawsuit against him, I think? AZlawyer
^^^^
If that's correct, I think he'll plead guilty.
I just don't think the man will want to go to trial for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, his ex-BFF has already taken a guilty plea, and has all the info they need on MS's plan. Secondly, he would not want his kids, mom, brother, friends and all of TS's family to hear about all his infidelities or even possibly be able to see his sex "video's."
Just think about all the sexual "witnesses" the prosecution could put on the stand. With MS's narcissistic personality, I don't think he would want all that bad press. He's probably already told his mom that the ONLY reason he's pleading guilty (cause he's NOT) is to protect "his beloved family" from having to go thru a very public trial.

This all my own opinion.
