2016.02.26 Mark D. Sievers: Charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree

I went through the pictures of the guns from the Sievers house. Looks like there's 24 of them. That's a substantial number but not an extreme amount.

The photos are not of very good quality. The value of guns is directly tied to their condition. It's very hard to tell the condition of some of the guns from these photos. In some,it's clear that the condition is poor.

Most of the guns are IMO average and not exceptionally valuable. There's a SIG P220 that may have a value of $1000.00. I also saw a Browning .22 auto rifle that may be around the same price on the used market.

Some are plain junk like the Rohm RG10 revolver. That thing is worth zero dollars. Others are not junk but don't have much value. The majority would probably go for $500.00 or less on Gunbroker.

I would guess that this collection would be worth somewhere between $10,000 and $20,000 with the higher number being iffy. I may have missed a "jewel" in this collection that may be worth a lot of money but I doubt it. When I have more time I'll take a longer look at the photos to double check. JMO.

I may have found a jewel in the gun collection. One of the shotguns is an Ithaca side by side. I have no idea of the exact model or it's condition because of the poor quality of the photos. I did find a close match to the engraving on the gun to one being listed as "buy now" for $13,150.00 on Gunbrokers.

Doesn't mean that the Seivers gun is worth that much but it's probably very valuable. It appears that older Ithaca side by side shotguns go for good money. How much the Seivers Ithaca is worth is hard to say without more information.

Records show shopping lists of trio arrested in Teresa Sievers slaying

--snips--

Turns out, Curtis Wayne Wright Jr. has a thing for Atomic Fireballs, chili corn chips and Jolly Ranchers.

Since his October arrest, the Missouri native has spent more than $850 at the Lee County Jail commissary on everything from candy and junk food to stamps and XXXL boxers.
He's also purchased the necessities: a wash cloth, crew socks, a thermal top, finger toothbrushes and dandruff shampoo. (bald guys require dandruff shampoo?)

He's purchased a few packs of playing cards and a word search, plus pens paper and stamps.
But mostly, it's been banana moon pies, jumbo honey buns and root beer barrels.
~~~~
In the meantime, [Mark Sievers]has spent just over $200 at the jail's commissary.
He's bought toiletries including triple antibiotic cream and deodorant, Colgate toothpaste and cocoa butter lotion.
He's purchased two pairs of boxers — size large — and a couple of tops and pants.
He has bought playing cards, writing pads, pens and stamped envelopes.
He too has purchased some junk food, including chocolate chip cookies, fudge brownies and strawberry Pop-Tarts.
~~~~

From the Collier County Jail, Jimmy Rodgers has spent just $39.50 in comparison. He's purchased Now and Later candy, a bag of peppermints, butterscotch candy, three Honey Buns and 39 stamped envelopes with blue pens and paper.

Hi there LAURIEJ Statistically speaking, MS is out spending CWW, "his sibling from another dribbling?" by more than 100%! (If one considers the expenditures on a monthly incarceration rate.) Wow. And, out spending JRR by over 600%!!....Good to know that bibles are free for inmates, huh? There is something so "curiously odd/fascinating" in finding out how much and what inmates choose to spend their discretionary dollars. I never knew the info was available until I watched a Nancy Grace show in which she gave info on the purchases Casey Anthony made when she was in jail.
Someone up thread questioned why we should be informed of the amount or the type of purchases made....I guess my thought would be, "You surrender the rights of individual freedom and privacy"
when you conspire to kill an innocent human being.
Please remember, these men are not private pay guests of a hotel, they are men accused of a heinous and vicious crime.....and one of them, the common denominator between JRR and MS has already admitted he is guilty, and willingly accepted a second degree murder sentence of 25 years for his part of the plan! These men are "non-payng guests of Lee County" and as such, not entitled to privacy, IMO.
If there are going to be any claims of indignation, embarrassment or debasing of the perps....so be it. Apparently, the perps have no problem with doing the same to their victims.

Should have gone to bed a while ago but saw IQuestion had a comment, so still up and reading. Never disappointed when IQuestion comments.

Now....:bed:

Lmao. Sibling from another dribbling. Lol. IQ you are crazy. Good job. Now speaking of statistics. It would be statistically correct to assume that JR is definitely going to take a plea as well for the offer of 40 years and a Big Mac and supersize french fries. Because his $39 spending tells us that he is a simple man that doesn't need much. Lol

Let's start a go fund me for Jimmys commissary. Lol

..i wonder how that works. CWW blabbed ( knowing that JR was coming, and would sell him out for that burger/fries/and a honey moon pie...?)

..is it only the 1st to talk that gets a deal? or will the DA be willing to offer pleas to all to avoid trial?

..i would hope that only yappy/save myself #1, CWW, would get the sweet deal, JR and MS would be lucky to plead to 2nd degree/take the max....any grand jury would take a micro second to indict on 1st degree on both of those fools.

I can't believe MS is actually going to fight this, hiring a private attorney, I guess he's not so "poor and needy" anymore.

I caught the last 15 minutes of Nancy Grace Monday night, and of course she had a new "BREAKING NEWS" bombshell, Caught on Tape from a "tipster," who so happened to turn out to be a long time friend of sievers! (CK) "Her information has thrown his defense into a tailspin!! Every word she says puts a new nail into the defense coffin."

Of course Kenny Cousins is there on the phone :phone:
And he had a "premonition" that maybe whoever killed her was at the funeral. Now KC, who was divorced from TS 13 years ago has been all over the place on the news media :rolleyes:
And Nancy being Nancy, never quite let KC get out his premonition, due to interrupting him. (very usual for her) :no:

I was very pi$$ed at Seema Iyer, the defense lawyer Nancy "unleashed." She tried to say that CK was not being truthful about MS's grand idea to go swimming at the murderers house after the funeral. And that she (CK) was only seeking her 15 minutes of fame!
We all know she DID NOT GO TO THE MEDIA.

To Nancy Grace from Dmacky:
"Nancy, this is old news," and is NOT just breaking. You need to have Matt Zarrell read HERE before you do your shows. And PLEASE leash
Seema Iyer back up.

OK, just found the transcript from Monday night.

He's a man with no morals.

I checked out the court case info and he was served! I'm also assuming his attorney was the one to file the suggestion of death response.

When counsel files a suggestion of death, opposing counsel should (a) contact opposing counsel for information regarding the date and place of death, and such information as opposing counsel may have regarding whether an estate has been opened, or (b) propound discovery directed at obtaining the same information, or (c) both. Generally, if the decedent’s estate has been opened, then the personal representative should be substituted in place of the decedent; however, if no estate has been opened, then another appropriate representative, such as a guardian ad litem, will need to be substituted. Failure to substitute the proper representative or guardian nullifies subsequent proceedings.

When and where did you see the 'Suggestion of Death' being filed?

Oh, oh: Reading in between the lines, seems to me Mark Sievers is saying, "Judge, my mom will watch me while I go back to taking care of the girls".

And don't forget his "needs". Someone more eloquent than me can expound on that subject.

Surely the judge won't cave in and reduce his bond to something he can afford for release!

He may adore his daughters, however, he is the last person they need contact with as they are trying to get their lives in order. It may be two years before this case gets to trial, keep this monster in jail away from them!

Now that he has had a taste of prison life, he is one freaking miserable narcissict. Having no control over any part of his life is driving him wild. If he would be released on bond, he will never go back to jail IMO.

He will disappear as he will not live his life in a cage! I believe he has the right connections to get all the paperwork needed for a new alias.

Please let this judge see through this man and realize he will run as fast as he can get things worked out. And, his daughters are not safe if he is out of jail.

My thoughts and opinions only.

Un-freaking real!!! This guy thinks his ba..s are bigger than what they are.

The fact his attorney stated to the judge/court that MS would not 'intimidate' any witnesses IF released is absurd !!! Surely LE, evidence & MS being 'hostile' (described by public defenders office) would derail any such request. That being said... I guess if MS wants release on bail, his Attny at least has to go thru the motions for his client. Hope it's not before a sympathetic judge who feels sorry for for this desperate, jailed 'father' with no $$$ and little b#%ls.

True, he's an illusion unto himself. Struts into hearings like Rambo---has a huge vision of himself in his sick mind. What we see... him strutting into hearings like Napoleon---little man, little regard for anything other than his little self. Wo, a vision---Tommy Boy, fat man in a little coat (or green frock).

Released he would definitely be intimidating. A THREAT is more like it. He only loves his kids as he sees them----a way to a means.

JMO but seeing that JR was a 'Johnny come lately' (seems that way so pretty sure) AND the fact that the Dribbling Siblings were in consistent contact over time, LE looked at CWW as the one to zero in on due to contact & knowledge between him & MS. That alone did not exist between MS & JR---JR could not have told LE facts about MS that CWW can & did. We don't know how much MS knew about the 'when and if' of JR's involvement.... he may not have known til after the fact. JR, in CWW's eyes (and maybe MS's if he knew) was handy & just collateral damage if things went wrong.

He wants out to be able to keep his control he has on his daughters. No way in hell is he going to let Teresa's mother have guardianship over those girls without a legal fight.

My question is why didn't the judge just hold him WITHOUT bail like she/she did with the other two murderers??

And don't forget his "needs". Someone more eloquent than me can expound on that subject.
I'm not going to write this eloquently at all, but I'm sure his "needs" are being met quite frequently right where he is. :giggle:

Maybe because the other two are already felons? Just a thought?
