2200-acre brush fire shuts down I-75 near North Port, FL

Very tragic, this brush fire is spreading quickly due to our drought - it is raining now in Sarasota and I hope it reaches the southern part down by I-75, he highway spanning the west side of Florida.

For those living in the area, it is advised to stay off I-75 as there has also been a serious accident with injuries in that stretch between [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Toledo Blade Blvd. and Sumter Blvd.

and we have severe flooding in parts of Canada
all I can think about is the poor animals who get caught in it - either the fire or the flooding
