I just think it's weird that the Ruby Valley 'visit' was first the 8th, then the 9th, and then the 10th. Apparently this witness to seeing him is *confused*. Why have no quarrel if she said it was the 9th--the second time around. You and Lato decided to change it to the 10th. I argued against it. Like I mentioned earlier, the only proof of his whereabouts will be within his purchases--and I think we are not being told everything about the calls and computer.
I discount anything anymore coming from Naegle, after the post of the sleep walking incident, and then saying otherwise in her reply when questioned in depth.....so I only go by what I hear or read publicly anymore. The misinformation on this case has been enormous to say the least and one of the reasons I curtailed my posting on his thread. Trying to pull facts or get any info was like extracting teeth. Many people were upset because of the lack of publicity.....but no one was doing or saying anything. We were thrown many bones to work on and a few weeks or months down the road, the info would be 'bad'. The case is a mess and has been from the beginning. We are no farther along to any real leads since the first two weeks. I think of us as hamsters running on a wheel and every rung in that wheel is a thought we have had to find him...till burn out. Bill O'Reilly would be proud of all the spinning! And we all know someone knows something about that trip to LV/Henderson and are just not saying anything. I truly believe that video had quite a few people jacked because they weren't expecting it.
And it was edited.
Hopefully, I'm wrong, but I don't expect to hear anything further in the media re: his case.
Naegle made the comment one time that "they" were in charge....I think they must be because LE has said very, very, little.

Nothing upsets me more than seeing something like this. And as I looked back at the SK thread, you had further remarks that should have been addressed at the time.

When you open up a big AAA Southwestern States map and zero in on Utah and Nevada, the towns that are highlighted - the ones that Steven visited - are somewhere between a circle and oblong shape.
1. St. George - Nephi - Springville - Wendover - Ruby Valley mostly along Interstate routes is about 8 hours
2. Ruby Valley to St. George - mostly along Hwy. 93 - is about 6 hours, 30 minutes - or
3. Ruby Valley to St. George back along the same Interstate route is about 8 hours driving time
All of the gas station locations are along #1 and #3.
I think SK was at Temple on Wednesday, 12/09/09 in time for 6:30 p.m. service. The documentation of sightings is very good.
I think the whole "visiting the ranch" episode occurred on another day and the gas station stops may have all been on that same "other" day.
How about the 8th or the 10th? He could have taken the Interstate route or the Hwy 93 route to Ruby Valley, visited and had lunch and, on the way back, use the Interstate route and stopped for gas and his taco meal and been back in St. George late that night.
The timeline shows no other events occurring on those days other than the possible $100 payment from boss.
hollyblue, this was a question I was asking Laytonian based on what she knew of the receipts and her knowledge of Utah and it's highways. If the RV visit occurred in that week, it seemed that only two days were available.
I will certainly pay more attention to your thoughts in the future and not wait until now to respond.
