3 killed in 75-vehicle pileup at Virginia-NC line

GALAX, Va. (AP) — About 75 vehicles crashed Sunday along a mountainous, foggy stretch of interstate near the Virginia-North Carolina border, killing three people and injuring more than 20 others, police said.

Cannot tell you how many times we drove that section of interstate going between our home in Indiana and our daughter's in Greensboro. An absolutely frightening stretch of road. White knuckle every single time.
