The court docs say it's a scheduling conference to set a hearing for the (now)combined motions of Goncalves and Associated Press et al? It's via zoom apparently. Perhaps it's been altered or scheduling means something else in this context? IDK, seems a little confusing. MOO

I'm sorry. I meant that they used the phrase "sister said." They did not say they had information conveyed to them.

I did not mean to imply she was on camera. I believe the actual quote is "the sister said..." to me, that's a quote, but if you want her actual face on the screen for it to be a quote, I understand that.

There is no other source for Dateline than the sister herself, if they want to avoid lawsuits, IMO. It would be egregious for them to say she said that and they have no source at all.

I don't remember the words, "We are relaying information" at all. So the big difference is that the two of us interpret wha was said differently, as I imagine the general viewership does as well.

I agree. Otherwise, I believe the normal rule would be to say 'we're told the sister blah blah blah". Or "our source says the sister blah blah blah".

We can only see the back of #BryanKohberger's head. Judge Judge says "we have some people on Zoom." That would be family members who couldn't travel for the hearing. An attorney is participating via Zoom

Watching court tv and they say this will be short and quick. Victims families are there.Bless their hearts.
No mention of his family.

On CTV, I see some relatives of the victims are slowly climbing the stairs to enter the court house. They look like they are going to a funeral.
I always feel like the perp murders the victim twice by taking a NG stance. They drag everyone into this horror filled rabbit hole to try to save themselves. They kill and yet they are terrified of being killed.
