OT: Just want to say, if u belong to the WM3 BB, be careful not to say anything HERE considering the guilt of Mark Byers (if u want to remain a member). I was apparently banned from the site after 2 messages supporting the WM3 BUT on WS I pondered on the guilt of MB BECAUSE of PL 1&2, the very documentaries that helped people change their view of the WM3. Coincidence? Don't think so.

It will be on HBO in January, 2012. Also, it's being released in a limited release (so as to be eligible for Oscars) soon. When and where I'm not sure. I know it's being shown at the NYC Film Festival and the original version (without the release of the WMFree) was shown recently (earlier this month IIRC) at the Toronto Film Festival.

If I heard the promo correctly (I was in another room), CBS will air the 48 Hours show again next Saturday night in its regular time slot. From what my hubby said (he saw the promo), there will be new footage about the recent release. I would guess they will also talk about the Alford Plea and hopefully to the released men. I'm looking forward to this!

So, Friday, I watched PL2 for the very first time. I've still never seen PL as (I guess) HBO pulled it off youtube. I can Netflix it, but I wanted to watch it right then. I've stayed away from these documentaries as well as the 48 Hours people are talking about in this thread and anything else that can't be listed as "factual".

There has been great debate that many of these documentaries and such are pro-defense. But let me just state, I don't know about all the rest, but there is a giant disclaimer on PL2 that states that neither the pros, nor any victim's families (except JMB and MB and some law enforcement) would participate. In that case, all the writers/filmers had to go on was the defense attys, the WM3 and their families. Sorry, but JMB didn't do much to help the prosecution in this film. So if the prosecution wanted a more fair documentary, they should have spilled their guts, the same as the defense did. JMO, of course.

Well seems you were right in the end. When you posted this I could still check BB out, but now seems I have been banned... Funny I don't remember ever joining there but as it is I don't have permission to even see the site. I find it pretty funny you question a few things about them here and they are so thin skinned they ban you there. Pretty sad and lily livered if you ask me. Not that I care too much, just used to catch any updates on there from time to time... but really no big loss.

Thak you so much for that link.I had not seen it in such a long time.
There were so many things I did not pay attention to the last time around.
It was so disturbing to see the victims but I made myself look this time around.
My heart was breaking for all six all over again.
Also the grieving mothers and Mr.Moore.
PH and Chris' mom were completely destroyed.
I still don't "buy" MB's grief act.He may have not had anything to do with the murders but he abused Chris and his "acting" is disgusting IMO
....and then of course there's TH the complete opposite shying away from the cameras and his only contribution was to mention that maybe the killers should be forgiven......that early on !!!! What a wonderful man. Not.

It's my understanding this person was hired by Johnny Depp to look into this case more (not sure if that is correct). Now nothing this person has produced has swayed my opinion but they did bring up some interesting lil bits, notably this person says they are in the know and that urine was found in the stomachs (if so why was that not brought up at the original trials?) and this stuff about an icepick. Anyways haven't seen these reports mentioned much on any of the supporter sites which I find odd. So thought I would pick your brain a bit on it.

Thanks for posting the links to the documentary I have been watching and am just in shock how this Byers man acts very very odd I also find the one mother(I think Mrs Hobbs) to be a little odd as well with how she was all dressed up and excited to be on TV something just didn't seem right there.

Blink has no credibility as a "profiler" and most of what she says seems to be her opinion only. She's a blogger, just like you and me. I know for a fact that whenever someone posts something that refutes what she has said, she quietly removes the "offending" post from her blog. I know that because it happened to a supporter who talked about it on the blackboard.

The whole "urine in the stomach" thing I discussed earlier, but briefly, it was basically a rumor that began because Gitchell questioned if the brown substance in Michael's stomach could be urine. No lab report showing urine in any of the boys' stomachs was ever released. So, it was rumor only, but some people like Blink mention it because of the sensational nature of such a thing. The defense requested the urine to prove it didn't exist.

The icepick is just one of those things found in the discovery ditch when it was drained. It was never linked to any of the wounds on any of the little boys. In fact, to my knowledge, the WMPD never tested any of the items found there - go figure! It's just a further example of the slam-bang job the WMPD did with the investigation, right?

ETA: Since this threat is about 48 Hours, I'd like to mention that I've heard that the reairing of the episode about this case has been postponed until September 17, 2011.

No way is this person an insider or an authority. She's nothing more than a former member that now blogs about cases.

As far as I can see, Blink knows less about this crime than most people posting in this thread. She doesn't even seem to know that there were two Jason Baldwins, or that Lt. Sudbury was present at both conversations with Damien where the urine nonsense was mentioned.
