Shutting Down the Kingston Penitentiary Aired April 2012. In this clip they speak of making some inmates bunk together in other prisons because of the shortage of space. Let's hope MR gets put in with RW. I'm sure they could cozy up together quite nicely. :floorlaugh:

I think this is a great idea making inmates bunk together. They are all scum of the earth at the Pen. If each inmate pairs up and lives together in those tiny cells....one is bound to go crazy and snuff the life of their cell mate....think of the tax dollars that we will save!!!!!!!

The interview with Rodney and his mom breaks my heart, it really does. That's the most emotional I have seen Rodney this whole time and I really hope he is okay.

I wonder if RW would have any problem wearing a ballroom gown. He doesn't have any problems wear feminine undergarments so... Then him and MR could do some ballroom dancing. I'm sure MR will be a wonderful teacher to RW. I chose a purple ballroom gown as I think that colour would look splendid on RW. MOO :floorlaugh::rocker:

That interview was difficult to watch, very emotional. You can almost see his agony shaking off him. No parent, no one period should have to go through this! I didn't know he did public service announcements that he paid for out of his own pocket. When that man says he is going to make Canada a safer place for his own and all Canadian children I believe him. Go Rodney!:woohoo:

ETA: those were a wonderful bunch of photos! The one where Patrina is standing above Rodney and he is looking up at her was the best. He looked happy and very much in love... She must be a very strong woman, I thought about her too on Mother's Day. I don't know if Rodney was dating her when Tori was alive but I'm sure she likes looking down on her dad with that twinkle in his eye

ETA 2: Tara's boyfriend has sunglasses on in all the pictures of him in that group. This whole time I don't think I have ever seen that man without sunglasses on. Weird.

I posted this link before pertaining to MR and I wonder if anyone else sees any traits on this list which is fitting to MR. I underlined what I felt was fitting; cannot say for certainty about not getting along with his mother but a good indication would be, he himself told women he had issues/troubles at home, didn't get along with his brothers and was shipped away to live with an aunt and uncle at a young age. (early teens?) MOO. There is something very off with MR, not only because he abducted, sexually assaulted Tori and murdered her, but there is something twisted in his head and it would be interesting to figure out what made him do what he did. I do not believe this was something which just cropped up in the past couple of years; it's something which has been brewing for many years. I've always believed monsters are not born, they are raised. I hope at sometime we are privy to what the heck went on in his life. I would not be surprised to find out he lacked a decent male role model in his life or a male role model period. JMO

This has been the best interview I have seen with Rodney yet. The public needs to see this raw emotion. We all need to get just as angry and step up and find a way to weed these animals out of society. I'll be keeping an eye out for Rodney to see what he has planned, and will continue to support him in any way I can. He is definitely on a mission. I hope his army continues to grow drastically. Every time that man opens his mouth I develop more respect for him.

I'm sorry you guys had to go through that, but I'm glad that you got through it. . Based on the bits and pieces we know of MTR, I think a lot of that stuff fits him, some much more so than others. It's scary how common it is for men, for all people, to be like that.

I tend to think that both biology and environment create monsters like MTR, I don't know how to pick through it all though. I too wish we knew, that we had more answers. IMO, awareness is so important in preventing these monsters from being created to begin with. I do wonder if there was something that couldn't have been done for TLM that might have steered her to go down a different path. As much as it sounds like she was 'in the system' there must have been many opportunities. I think learning about that and making changes is something that can be done to prevent horrible tragedies like these from happening.

I don't know what life was like for MTR growing up. Being sent to live with relatives does indicates to me there was something going on there, and considering how he turned out it probably was serious. Didn't he drop out of high school very early too? What do kids that young do if they aren't going to school? I wonder if he spent anytime in youth detention.

I do agree with those who believe that MTR's behavior is misogynistic. In order to do what he did you can't see people as anything but objects.
