Thanks for the pix, Beesy. I see these houses are also a bit more expensive... $175,000-229,000. I was hoping to keep it $150,000 and under, but that doesn't seem probable with everything I'm looking at (unless I move over to Newsoms, and that doesn't seem probable either). I hate looking at stuff on that Scott Associates website... everything says MLS password required, so you have to email the guy to get any details... and I don't want to do that.
I happened to be driving past the house on N. High St. and there was a construction dude there, so I stopped to talk to him...hee
They are putting siding on the house and replacing carpets, and painting it. So it'll look better than in the pix. And those pix from 2004 show those ugly telephone polls. They've all been replaced and/or straightened up! They look nicer now too. Since we made this area a historic district, they had to shape everything up.
That house is Newsoms is great...even comes with a well-known peanut family "old money" name attached. I suppose I could drive to Newsoms to visit.

LOL, yeah I don't even drink either but I would like to try one, so we will have to make it tea. Red Rose and vanilla bean are my favourites. If it's hot, then it's cranberry juice and club soda and lime.
We're talking about iced tea. You're not allowed to put anything in it but sugar or lemon. In fact, it's usually called sweet tea

No, she was saying which types of tea she liked and serving it hot and putting things in it. The horror

That's a southern thing...making tea and pouring booze in it. I just saw a chef on the Food Network and he showed us all just how to do it at his "southern" barbeque show. hahahahahahahaha.

Sigh...I was teasing cami about drinking hot tea with vanilla bean and such. Only iced sweet tea allowed....oh yeah and whiskey, that's ok too.

No, stick your old iced tea. Cranberry juice, club soda and lime is a much better refresher on a hot day--no sugar at all but you can stick some vodka in it if you've a mind to.

LOL, don't you know we drink hot tea in Canada. It's cold in Canada don't you know. Actually, you misread me, I meant when it's hot outside we can sip Cranberry/soda cocktails. I like hot tea, Red Rose or Vanilla Bean. I don't put anything in it but a tad of milk, no sugar. I don't drink coffee. I think I might be the only Canadian who hates Tim Hortons, especially the coffee. Please don't tell on me though, I might get deported and I like it here. :slap:

oh my- i forgot all about the tim hortons-- everytime we go out of town my kids want to know if there will be a tim hortons where we are going!!

LOL, I see they are hooked. What is it I wonder. They are every two hundred feet up here it seems, LOL. Our Scottish friends really played that up this summer with their Scot's accents: " can you no go two hundred feet wiout your wee coffee and donuts."
