''Toronto Police are looking for the public’s help identifying the suspect in an assault on an elderly man last month.

Just before 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 14, police were called to investigate an assault on a 77-year-old man near Yonge and Dundas Sts.''
''Police say the victim was approached by two men, one of whom began assaulting the senior''.
''The suspect, who was last seen entering 10 Dundas St. E., is a Black male in his mid-to-late 20s, who was wearing a blue-and-white checkered dress shirt, grey pants and white running shoes.''

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in an Assault Bodily Harm investigation.

On Friday, August 14, 2020, at 4:39 p.m., officers responded to an Unknown Trouble call in the Dundas Street East and Yonge Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 77-year-old man was in the area

- he was approached by two unknown men

- one of the men began assaulting him

- he received injuries and was transported to hospital

The suspect is described as mid to late 20s, wearing a blue and white checkered dress shirt, grey pants, and white running shoes. He was last seen entering 10 Dundas Street East.

Security camera images have been released.

YES. I have noticed the same thing. Assaults on random seniors, without provocation. It is shocking really.
