I hope the judge gave them some defination of what 'harrassment' means. Otherwise I can see a lot more court time ahead.

For instance, if they see them out in public is it harrassment for the Cox's to speak to their grandchildren? Is it harrassment if they call them? Is it harrassment if they go to the home to try to see them? Depending on which side you are talking to I would think both sides would have different answers.

I know it has been said that they don't have grandparent visitation laws there. But just because there is no law that says they have to be given visitation, does that mean that they cannot by law be given visitation? Has this type of circumstance ever gone to court where the grandparent petitioned for visitation, and what was the result?

It was from a tweet from a Susan Powell site or group. Perhaps they were wrong. I'd try and link it for you, but it doesn't seem to be working right for me.

Maybe it is time for one of their local reps to introduce some legislation for grandparent's rights. Call it the Cox law.

So, let me get this straight. When Mr and Mrs Cox are with the kids at the park, old michael and his sis show up at the park lickety/split to take pictures of them visiting with the grandkids.

But Michael is toooo busy to attend court and submits an affidavit.

Daddy throws his face in front of the cameras, complaining about Mr. Cox et al distributing flyers to help locate missing Susan, and he's toooooo busy to attend court with his son.

I hope the court order includes the rest of the Powell clan from Washington. If not, Mr. Cox might want to take care of that.

I HOPE someone got a picture of Josh at court. I wanna see if he's as whiney as he was in front of the cameras in Utah. ~~squinched eyes~~ puckering mouth~~ then hiding behind his boys.

Oh, yeah, he did that this weekend too, didn't he? Hide behind his kids. Guess they're never too young or too old to use as a shield.

It's not so bad. No matter what JP isn't going to let the Cox's see the grandkids, probably wouldn't even follow a court order that ordered them to. But they now have an order saying that JP cannot go to FindSusan events to start trouble. JP cannot call and rant. And even hangup calls (if proven to be from him) are forbidden. This is about the best the family can hope for.

If I were the Cox's, I think I would hang tight. If I saw the kids in a public place, stay within their sight, if they wave wave back (or blow a kiss), if they approach give them a hug. But don't be the one to approach the kids and try to make sure they are there before JP.

I don't think that JP realizes how bad this makes him look in the public eyes. He has so many other options, including being the one to offer an olive branch by says if the Cox's wanted pay for supervised visitation (at an agency) under the circumstances that their mother's status wasn't discussed, that JP would allow it. Publically he would look so much better. Plus if he really cared about the children it would be so much better for them.

Josh Powell and Chuck cox must 500 feet apart. They can't interact, at that distance.
