85yr old arrested for stalking 80yr old

In Japan, an 85yr old man has been arrested for stalking an 80 year old woman he met while she was in hospital with his (now deceased wife).

Despite being warned by police, the man was arrested when he allegedly broke into her house in early May.

Crime rates for the over 65s are rocketing in Japan apparently.

I think he might be one of the oldest ever (alleged) stalkers. The Duchess of Devonshire had a stalker when she was 90, but he was only 75.

Just the last thing anyone would want or expect in their very senior years.
