WW is being sentenced for the probation violation on Tuesday. Some of the regular players cannot make it, however one of the attorneys pinch hitting has a long history of Prosecuting capitol murder cases...diggin it!! Deb will be attending, Mike will have written a victim's impact statement. He says he cannot face his mother at the moment.

There may be no mention of additional charges at the hearing-perhaps the strategy will be to keep WW in the dark until he can be charged with everything once all of the evidence is lined up. In any case, don't be disappointed if you do not see any discussion in the media relating to kidnapping, trafficking etc...

Mike Mazzone called tonight to say that he believes the sentencing will be delayed because someone may ask for a pre-sentencing report. I had to look this one up, so here is what I learned:

The Presentence Report (psr) is created by a Probation Officer at the behest of the Judge, or the attorneys after a defendant is found guilty. The purpose of the report is to take into account past history, crimes and behaviors of the defendant for the purposes of accurate sentencing.
OK-In this case, we are looking at a maximum sentence of 4 years.
What I find interesting is that the defendant can be questioned about any and all crimes uncovered by the investigation unless he declines-this could open the door to some more detail in Tawni's case-it will be interesting to see how it goes....

Either way, 4 years stinks..... From what I know if you are sentenced 4 you do 2. At least that is how it is here in IL with 'good behavior'.

Oh yeah-it can also include interviews with siblings, family members, kindergarten teachers....a whole lot of hoops to jump through for a max of 4 years, so I am somewhat confused by the request.
Hearing is pushed off until November 12th pending the PSR- Mr. Walker again refused to ID himself today under advice of counsel because he is in fear of being charged with identity theft....he has no idea.....
We knew that..... more wasted tax dollars when the idiot pleaded guilty.
reminds me of an old HS buddy... who was stabbed in the head with a screw driver by some freaking immigrant.... Friend was left for dead and found hours later about 6am or so by early birds leaving for work on a Sunday morning. While his life changed, and will NEVER be the same, he is capable of bagging groceries at best..... the immigrant/gang banger who stabbed him, had the better end of the deal a real plea... and a complete shame to my friend, who stood up for justice when people where breaking into cars to steal stereo's... I guess a screw driver into the brain wasn't much compared to the crime....and a good public DA.... KARMA~ err.....

LOL! Fear of identity theft? He didn't steal one that we know of.. just made up a few.... I guess this a good thing as his fears haven't even touched the scope of what he may face.

We need to save your presence for a hearing that Mike will be attending; he needs a male shoulder SO badly...actually any shoulder, since his Mom cursed him out and said he was out of the family. Yikes.
